amazing build +1! i could only venture to suggest the possibility of utilizing Surgical Extraction and Gitaxian Probe for the hand draw the peek into your opponents game and the chance to really wreak havoc upon a deck by stripping copies of thetas that have been placed there by your vast removal and hopes and the phyrexian mana is a bonus.

Thanks for the +1 hateindigital~
While that idea is interesting, I think it is far too janky to use up 6-8 card slots that could be used for pure control. And Extirpate would be a far better choice. What you have suggested is best against either a control build or a combo build, removing their main win conditions.
It is also best for a deck that doesn't want them to get their win condition out. I kinda do. When I get my Near-Death Experience onto the field, I'll essentially be waiting for my opponent to try and deal the finishing blow to me, and then I'll just Angel's Grace to victory, leaving my counterspells in hand for when they try to counter Angel's Grace. Or, if I'm lucky, I'll do it much more sooner with Plunge into Darkness. But regardless, a majority of the modern infinite combos are damage combos, so a simple Angel's Grace will do.
Beyond that, mill combos, sacrifice combos and other things that Angel's Grace can't prevent, my counterspells certainly can. And I also have Leyline of Sanctity to prevent one half of the combos I can't prevent mainboard, and Sadistic Sacrament to prevent the other half. Interestingly to note, Sadistic Sacrament does pretty much the same thing that Gitaxian Probe and Surgical Extraction does combined. I just will have to use different cards against the graveyard and counterspells for the one or two that are in there hand. But regardless, it is far more effective as it doesn't take up much space and doesn't become a dead draw if I have only one have of the mini-combo.

The current top Near-Death Experience of this deck is Oh, you thought you were going to win?. It is what made me think of Near-Death Experience as being modern competitive worthy, just not in the style of combo that the creator of that deck presented in. It fits the control shell much more nicely.

I'll be sad if this deck makes #1 but not my Kor Legions deck.

You surround your deck slug in double square brackets. at the start of the deck slug it should say deck: You do the same thing with cards, and with users.
For example:
- [[Armament Master]]
- [[deck:Kor Legions]]
- [[user:Femme_Fatale]]

Supreme Verdict probably is the better choice right now. Delver of Secrets Flip is much more common than Thrun, the Last Troll.

Note taken. Should I remove Damnation as well for one Supreme Verdict?

Well that definitely lowered down the cost of my deck.

It doesn't sound right with "Angels only". The rhythm and tone just aren't there.
But thanks for the +1~
