A card that I think is good in any burn deck is Bonfire of the Damned . I has the possibility of dealing a lot of damage. I disagree with aeonstoremyliver, I think Browbeat is an excellent card. It can either deal damage to an opponent or give you a card advantage.
One thing that I think you should change in this deck are the fetch lands. I understand why you put them in there, but you're running mono-red. The fetch lands are a good idea, so instead of running the lands you have now, run a bunch of Evolving Wilds . For Evolving Wilds you don't have to pay life and you are still getting the land and the shuffling that you want to have. Of course you have to put the land in tapped, but I think that it is a fair trade off.

scooter36 Bonfire is good in a midrange deck, where one has access to lots of mana. This deck may only have 3 lands out, thus making Bonfire insufficient. I sideboard Slagstorm as a boardwipe. I may replace it with Anger of the Gods .
Browbeat is horrible, as it never does what you want it to do when you want it. Do a search on why the card is bad...
I will most definitley not replace the fetches with Evolving Wilds . Having a land ETB tapped can cost me a valuable turn. This deck wants to win turn 4, 5 at the latest. Thinning my deck, a shuffle, Lavamancer fuel, and a Landfall trigger for Searing Blaze on the opponent's turn is all very relevant.

aeonstoremyliver alright whatever I was just trying to help don't be such a dick

First of all I want to point out I'm happy to finally see other players who share my opinion about running fetches in a burn deck.
In your description you've listed Forked Bolt for removing mana dorks. Sure you can cast it T1 and potentially kill two creatures but wouldn't Searing Blood be a better option for dealing with creatures?
For Ball Lightning I can see why you'd like to play him, but I personally prefer Hellspark Elemental due to his unearth ability. He has the same potential to deal damage but is less prone to removal.
Also a bit puzzled why you're not running with any Shard Volley either. Good card and if used correctly you won't have to worry about losing just a measly land. Also a way to feed your lavamancer.

Also forget me talking about Forked Bolt . I somehow manage to skip the main part of "affinity match up"

Lol, it's all good. Affinity is a 50/50 win percentage game one. Anything I can do to swing the odds in my favor is nice. I'm contemplating running 1 more main and mayhap siding another.
Thanks for the props bro! I suppose once you play with the fetches in a RDW/Burn shell, you can come to appreciate them.
Ball Lightning is definitley a rogue choice, but I'm Olde school! On a more serious note, it tends to have a better 'late' game than Hellspark Elemental and can push more damage through. I'll snuff any opposing critters with First Strike, Thalia for instance, before dropping him. In the tourneys I've played he's proven to be quite valuable.
Shard Volley I'm on the fence with. If I ran a lower creature count, it would be a 2-3 of. There's enough control in my meta that I really don't want to risk saccing a land for naught. Again, if I had 8-12 creatures, I'd probably include it.
The upside to 19 creatures is my resilience to G2-3 Leyline of Sanctity . I haven't yet encountered the card, however in testing against it I'm able eek out a win. If I do encounter it, I'll make a simple modification of adding Sacred Foundry and Wear / Tear .
I'm still in flux with my sideboard. It's a new configuration, untested, but I think I'll have more resilience vs control decks with Shrine. I will probably drop the lone Combust in favor of something else. My Twin matchup is awesome with Torpor Orb . I dunno tho...

@scooter36 I do appreciate your feedback and wasn't at all trying to come off like a dick. Haha... Anyway, I took your suggestions into account and listed logical reasons why I didn't use them.

+1 for awesome aggro/burn-y goodness. Any thoughts on Kiln Fiend to feed off of those sweet, sweet instants and sorceries? I really get great use of him in my multiplayer deck: Kill it with FIRE!!

Kiln Fiend could be cool, but I prefer Eidolon of the Great Revel in the 2 drop slot. He does so much work.
Fiend may have a spot my Pauper RDW, though...

This deck is awesome!!! Similar to mine actually! if you are not certain about the splash, it is EXTREMELY amazing. Boros Charm Lightning Helix Stony Silence & Wear / Tear are extremely strong. I have little experience with modern, but I know a good splash when I see one. Red has very little answers to enchantments (Leyline of Sanctity im talking about you) so your only good solution is to add white. Its great! Once again, I love red decks, and also people that give Vexing Devil a chance!!! People are so mean to him!! they say things like "he sucks he dies to removal (DUH!) your opponent always picks the worst option (what worse option?!?! there is none!) never play him hes horrible." then you cast him and they lose. Its good. so thanks for using him. and good luck with this amazing deck!! +1 (:

Haha, thanks!!! Vexing Devil is amazing in every match I've had him in.
I was considering splashing , actually, for Destructive Revelry , as it goes a bit better with my game plan and offers flexibility. can be useful too, as you mentioned...

the green splash is pretty good also! I've tried it and it works, but you need like 8 fetches for either one. Destructive Revelry is great, but I'm a sucker for Boros Charm ... mostly because the artist's name is Zoltan BOROS!!!! its so cool!! D Rev gives you soooooo much value and has soooooo much versatility... but its up to you!

2x Shard Volley ? I would suggest putting in 2x Blood Crypt , and 4x Blackcleave Cliffs to splash black. Bump in the Night is great and so is Rain of Gore in the sideboard along with Rakdos Charm . I would personally up your lands to 20, take out your vexing devils, ball lightning, 2x grim lavamancers, and your miracle card.

Darnok thanks for the up vote and suggestions! With so much control in my meta, I'm wary about Shard Volley . I have considered it in the past.
I really like Rain of Gore and have been looking at that card as a possibility for awhile now. It may be worth a Blood Crypt or two main. As far as a deeper splash goes, I side in Blood Moon frequently, thus nullifying much splash. If my meta were different, or if my meta changes, I may make some color modifications. Blood Moon is absolutely brutal against a lot of decks in my meta.
October 26, 2014 2:05 p.m.
If the only card you are splashing for is Bump in the Night then you would know what to take out to put in Blood Moon . :) It seems crazy to me not to be playing another playset of Lava Spike . Shard Volley is good as a 2 of. It is the card you play last from your hand when you have no more burn to play or if you don't care because you have 4 lands.

Why are you running Eidolon of the Great Revel in a deck with no cmc above three, its suicide, and if its not do enlighten me.

I would cut Vexing Devil for Monastery Swiftspear

aeonstoremyliver says... #20
I've considered it briefly, and may test it. Devil has worked wonders for me. I'm wary about Swiftspear due to the fact I'm running little Sorceries to play before my Attack step. I really like to save my instants...

HAHAHAHA, lol! this deck is the shit and it has a funnyass name to boot. I may feel pressured to sleeve it up and try it out. But I'm more of a control player; not that control is the most viable strategy in Modern. Certainly wasn't at PT Philly 2011, and I played at that event. I played a U/G Faerie list similar to the one piloted by Gerald Camangon.
October 21, 2015 8:49 p.m.
aeonstoremyliver says... #22
@Masquerade thanks man! Interesting to note is that I have piloted this deck as a control/tempo deck in certain matchups. Namely Affinity, Zoo, and other Aggro decks. I will most always have the best top deck... :-)
Is that / Faerie list on your profile? Cuz that's odd and intriguing.

*Sees white-border blood moon. Bleck.
Lol, jk. The deck looks good.
January 24, 2016 1:59 p.m.
jacksonjfk because the majority of modern as a format is 3 CMC or less, you drop him down and most players will need to get rid of him immediately to not keep eating shocks just to pull off their game plan, but even getting rid of him will more than likely make them take 2 damage. If he's not removed, it's not like you have to sling spells every turn, you can sit back and take a more reactive stance with your instant speed spells. Get 2 down and you can just prop up your feet and let them do the work. Plus, you can swing or chump block with him for added benefit. This was the card that really solidified burn as a tier 1 modern deck, mainly cause it helped against the combo matchups that burn was once weak to, like its going to hurt throwing down a bunch of 0 CMC artifacts while he''s down. I thought the same thing at first, and there will be the occasional game where he's more harmful than beneficial but any deck will have its rounds like that, just the way she goes.

Thunderous Wrath isn't reliable enough as a Miracle. If Sensei's Divining Top were Modern legal, I may consider it. Having that high of a CMC in my opening hand is a bad thing. Even if I added Magma Jet to set up a Miracle, I'd just be adding cards to make a bad card better. If that makes any sense.
My choice to play a lone Reforge the Soul is risky enough, but it's benefits can often outweigh the risks. I may end up cutting it.
