Engulfing Slagwurm I really wanted to play with, but it doesn't actually work very well with Phyrexian Obliterator . . .

Also, I could use help filling the sideboard.

Instead of Dismember , Doom Blade , or Go for the Throat ? Something else? I had considered it, but I dropped it. Playtesting though, it would be quite useful . . . especially since I've added Viridian Emissary .

Prey Upon is amazing, thanks for the suggestion. I didn't think it was as good as a single use, but it actually gives me much more freedom.

No thoughts on using sheoldred?

I considered her. Do you think she'd be a good call? Maybe instead of a Phyrexian Rager .

If I play with a 7 drop, though, don't you think Engulfing Slagwurm would be a better call? Or Sheoldred for card advantage wins?

I think sheoldred would be better in more situations than the slagwurm I think it would work better overall. Playtest may prove otherwise but its a thought

sine you're using birthing pod you should build some more feasibility into the deck. there's tonnes of utility creatures in G/B nice idea.

I feel like it would water down the consistency. Phyrexian Obliterator is, I'd say, guaranteed to be on the board turn 4 or 5 this way.

What cards were you thinking?
