Actually you can, on the official rules website it says "Reminder text is not included in the colour identity of a card." I appreciate the concern though.

Also in response to CapnBMo: Consuming Aberration is now in and I'll add Lord of the Void as soon as I can trade for one.

Originally had it in there, won with it the first game I played, was no fun, took it out.

I think you would be better off with lazav as your general works so much better than oona. Oona is just a Combo piece not a general. Other than that I do like how you are using a general no one really does.

I have a lazav edh ill post it later today.

What's wrong with Oona? Sure, the most brutally effective way to use her is with infinite mana combos, but she's still fun without it. Lazav just seems like a completely different deck.

Not so much, with lazav you just don't want to exile cards and discarding people really helps you get good creatures too. Think about it, what if you milled a Avacyn, Angel of Hope now you have a hexproof, indistructable that now with the new clone rule is even harder to get rid of. I was just throwing it out there it's your deck I'm not telling you change it. I was just informing you .

Have you thought using Jace's Erasure + Consecrated Sphinx + Forced Fruition

If you could search for a Arcanis the Omnipotent aswel, you have a pretty good self mill that also mills opponent

Throw a Venser's Journal into the mix!

Nice deck, though I see very few milling creatures.

Could people also take a look at this deck? Its also an Oona, Queen of the Fae deck with a Faerie Sub-theme. (Which I thought could work quite well, as long u only put in faeries that actually do something usefull)

EchoSi3rra how would this deck play against many aggressive decks? All my friends are playing Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and shenanigans.

Crypt Ghast actually isn't legal in your deck because of the Extort mechanic being in Orzhov colors.

Camel-Senpai: False, reminder text doesn't count towards color identity.

I don't know how a random rules question thread is supposed to help, but the very first response is correct and exactly what I just said. "1. Yes. Color identity takes into account any mana symbol on the card (not in reminder text!)"

Any thoughts on Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger?

Warhadow Great card!!!! One of my stronger in cons in my own Oona Queen of Fae deck. Ulamog together with oona can exile an opponents library in just 2-3 turns, while maintaining a strong board state.

Warhadow Yep, it's going in as soon as I get my hands on one.

Also check out my Dimir Oona deck: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/rise-of-the-faeries/

Don't want to brag, but I feel that this is among the better, more competitive Oona, queen of fae decks out there. Took a lot of time and thought to create.

Your thoughts are welcome.

As for Crypt Ghast, here is the ruling specifically on color identity with reminder text (http://magiccards.info/rule/903-commander.html#rule-903-4-b)

AKA: Crypt Ghast is allowed in a non-shite deck, due to the fact the mana symbol is in between brackets =)

Probably a card you might not have thought about is Ashnod's Altar. It's a sac outlet for those 1/1 flyers you don't need anymore as well as a mana producer. It's also very cheap.

Is Necropotence too black for this deck? I use it in my Oona edh

March 23, 2016 1:22 a.m.

EchoSi3rra says... #24

Necropotence is just the right amount of black, but I don't think I have enough lifegain in this deck to use it to it's full potential.
