I agree with Victim of Night switching out, perhaps Doom Blade over Go for the Throat, as I'm much more likely to play a general mono-black rather than a tribal zombie, vamp, or werewolf deck in modern tourney play.
As for Murderous Cut, it still would be too expensive to cast as I usually have 1-2 cards max in my graveyard by the end of the game whether I win or lose.

With 23 spells at 4 fetchlands? That sounds odd, but to each his own.

Every spell you cast, and every card you transmute will end up in the graveyard. Fetchlands also end up in the graveyard. Delve will eat up all the cards in the graveyard. I just imagine you having enough to fuel 1 or 2 cuts.

I see said the blind man.
Thanks, I guess I really hadn't thought it through like that. lol I may add to the longevity of the game should I draw badly. Thanks again!

Epic fail on Raven's Crime. No LGS within an hour away has any.
Curse this redneck town!

I feel like this deck would like Dismember over some of the conditional removal spells in the sideboard. Twin is one hell of a modern deck, and being able to disrupt their combo for one mana instead of two can be the difference between winning and losing the match.

Thinking of moving up to v. 2.0.
Features will probably swap out (from main board):
2x Pact of Negation
or 1x Turn Aside and 1x Vapor Snag
To put in:
2x Surgical Extractionand/or 1-2x Thought Scour with or without Murderous Cut, respectively.
This would allow me to completely diffuse the opponent in the first turn or two if I don't hard draw my combo. Also it allows for Murderous Cut to be played with its delve cost for nearly 2 mana if needed.
Thoughts?

The Murderous Cut + Thought Scour synergy sounds great to me, mostly because I'm a big patron of Murderous Cut in modern.

Oh btw, a single Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth turns all of your islands into islands AND swamps, providing excellent mana fixing. It might occasionally fix your opponent's mana as well, but its just something to consider running 1-of.

I have one. It just seems a bit unnecessary since I have so many fetch lands. I'm actually using it in my Vermin deck. Good suggestion though!

why not add Bloodchief Ascension to make an infinite combo

FNM update:
Played a 3 man chaos game last night against a mono-green ramp/hydra deck and a U/R drake-producing instant/sorcery deck.
while we all started out slow (I had no combo cards in my OH) I ended taking them both out the same turn on T7, thanks to a poorly timed spot removal by the U/R player and the luck of me pulling a Pact of Negation at the beginning of that turn.
I simply Gut Shotted the other opponent immediately thereafter.
Bam.

All the cards needed for the combo should be raised to 4x of each.

Would you bring Victim of Night in against affinity? If not, then I think Go for the Throat will better fit your sideboard, if you can find some.
Also, Murderous Cut usually does not cost 4B, it's closer to B, or 1B, which means it probably could slot out a couple of your removal spells.
