No problemo. And I think she's good, I just like when all abilities apply. An OCD thing I guess. But she is pretty good and probably runs well in your deck anyways. :P

This deck has one person runnign a very similar deck at my meta and it functions the same way with destroying blockers and hitting really hard + 1 from me

July 24, 2013 6:07 a.m.

put in a kill spell like Dreadbore or Doom Blade

im very much an aggro person, i feel kill spells are side board only for an aggressive deck you dont want these cards to slow you down, burn can deal with most early game threats and with the advantage of been able to target the player. but thank you for the input.

You really do not have any creatures that can follow up a burning tree, I would suggest adding gore-house chainwalker firefist strikers and lighting maulers for better burning tree starts, or you could take out burning trees if you really want to keep your spike jesters and shred-freaks.

Burning tree follows onto burn Shock Pillar of Flame Skullcrack Searing Spear as for creatures Rakdos Cackler , Legion Loyalist i am gunning for Lightning Mauler . But im not removing burning tree as they do work in this deck, i managed to get 2nd in FNM after all with it.

If u want to put in Lightning Mauler drop the Rakdos Shred-Freak for them they are essentially the same except if you have Burning-Tree Emissary ,Lightning Mauler and Legion Loyalist in your starting hand you can swing for 5 dmg turn 2 which is not bad.

But cool deck +1

Speedy Rakdos is a deck that i made and i feel having a solid 3 drop like Boros Reckoner or Mindsparker will Help Alot For Blocking And Attacking. I know Reckoner Is Expensive But He Is Great Help Against Aggro And Midrange

although 3 drops are nice, they do have a problem of overloading mana vs damage, look at Chandra's Phoenix , its 2 damage for 3 mana, while i can 3-5 damage with good drops otherwise for the same mana, in the same turn rather then waiting, this gives me a clear turn 4 advantage, now yes Boros Reckoner and Mindsparker are good card the idea of this deck is speed, side board both cards is a possibility on the other hand as if speed cant win the game those cards could be key to turning the tide. Thanks for the advice you have given me a good idea.

For your deck try look at how iv built this, its nearly a pure red deck, which we all know forgive the pun red deck wins, i prefer splashing black to splashing white but boros is a good colour too, you can splash both for a BWR blitz deck too

The Reason I Like Boros Reckoner Is In Both Of Our Decks Are Mono Red And All Of Our Mana Tap For Red And It Is Easy To Drop And Block With Reckoner And Kill 2 Creatures. Mindsparker Is A Control Answer. My Shop Has Alot Of Control Players And It Makes It Easy To Deal Damage.

I'm a big fan of aggro, and play testing this deck led to alot of pumping 20 damage on turn 4. Love the burning tree here, cause with lightning mauler, it's an easy 4 damage turn 2, plus playing with the phoenix on turn 3 works well too. The with though was almost always lacking I feel though. With the quick amount of creatures you get I agree Rubblebelt Raiders are worth checking out, as well as possibly Ogre Battledriver which gives anything haste, plus 2 attack in the same 4drop position.

Both good ideas but only one I really like is Ogre Battledriver I wouldn't use it now but it's defiantly a post rotate consideration.

I playtested this against my deck: Duskmantle Seer's Weenies (post-rotation). The wins/losses came pretty even, and of course my wins got more prevalent after boarding out stuff. Regardless, here are some things I noticed...

  • Hellrider is still as ridiculous as ever. He was the main reason I ever lost (And I cant wait for him to rotate out :P)

  • Once I got Unflinching Courage on a guy, the game was pretty much over for you. Skullcrack might've helped a tiny bit, but it wasn't ever enough. Maybe you should think about adding some sideboard to go up against it? After all, it is a very much used card right now.

  • Lightning Mauler almost always felt like a dead draw. Nearly all your guys already have haste and even when it finally got paired with a Burning-Tree Emissary it just wasn't a big deal. Maybe you could replace it was a heavier hitter like Gore-House Chainwalker ?

I hope my suggestions help out. I do like the deck and gave you a +1 for that! And if you feel I didn't do your deck justice, please consider testing against my own and siding however you want. I'd love to hear more results!

If you want to sustain the aggro, try Blood Scrivener instead of sign in blood. You get a 2/1 as well as draw when you need it most. He's also in the rtr block.

I can see its benefits but what to take out and maintain the speed of the deck is the thing, generally hand advantage isnt an issue by turn 5 iv burned out my hand and done my goal and tapped out this has more use for mid range aggro so you can maintain a hand

How about Rix Maadi Guildmage to maximize mana usage during later turns?

August 3, 2013 8:16 p.m.

quickstream says... #19

There's no later turns for this deck after turn 6 your chances of winning drop drastically much the same if you mull more then once, this really is an all or nothing deck you are reserved when playing it's not for you
