so i see all these sliver decks that people are making...4 colors, 5 colors...and i'm thinking "WTF?!?! all you need are R/W/G!" i understand flying is valuable...and that lifelink has it's uses...but it just makes the deck inconsistent. with R/W/G...you have all of the tools you'll need to get the job done. vigilance, haste, first strike, double strike, mana production, pump, and the
Thorncaster Sliver
's ability to reach out and touch people late game.
Boros Charm is a must...best options on a charm if you ask me.
Door of Destinies speaks for itself in a tribal deck.
Searing Spear is my offensive/deffensive removal.
and everything else just falls into place.
for those of you that are going to suggest Cavern of Souls...it's going to roll out in October...so i don't want to become dependent on it...and...i don't have 4.
The Sideboard.
Skullcrack
is for the fogs and life gaining game.
Act of Treason is for the mirror match. Stealing someone else's sliver and taking away their ability and giving it to yours for a turn can be devastating.
Gruul Charm
is to wipe fliers (yet another reason that i don't find Galerider Sliver too appealing) and to stop people from blocking my buff ass slivers.
the last two cards in my side board are pretty self explanatory.
I run 20 land because i don't depend on as much mana fixing as the 4 or 5 colored sliver decks.
creative criticism is welcome. the other kind is not. =P
let me know what you think. Thanks!
