This is an optimized Niv-Mizzet, Parun combo deck. All of the standard Niv combos are here, plus control to protect, ways to find the combos, and acceleration to get it done as quickly and efficiently as possible.

The basic way to win is with a two-card combo with Niv. Having half of the combo in the command zone is great, since U/R has limited tutoring options, but they're pretty much all in here. We've also got lots of cards that'll let us dig deep into the deck to find the combos, such as Dig Through Time, Time Spiral, or Wheel of Fortune.

• Curiosity + Niv-Mizzet, Parun
• Niv-Mizzet, Parun + Ophidian Eye
• Niv-Mizzet, Parun + Tandem Lookout

These let us draw our whole deck and kill everyone with Niv. We've got Winds of Change in there if we need to do some more killing after all of the cards have been drawn, or we can just use the labman Jace, Jace, Wielder of Mysteries.

We've also got the Dramatic Scepter combo:

• Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter

If we have some mana rocks these can give us infinite casts allowing Niv to do his thing and draw our whole deck.

Without the combos online, Niv can still do a lot of work killing dangerous creatures and planeswalkers, especially with big draw spells and wheels, while we look for the missing pieces.

A large Counterspell suite allows us to protect our combos and keep our opponents from winning. The control package also lets us keep our opponents from killing us before we can go off if they correctly determine that we're a major threat.
