Would the Isochron/Reversal, and the Faeburrow Elder / Bloom Tender / Freed from the Real / Pemmin's Aura combos be featured in this maybeboard?

Why no mention of Delay ? It seems like a better option than Negate in most situations.

SynergyBuild the impression I got from talking to a few of the authors is that Freed combos are an unnecessary (4th or so?) wincon and does nothing without Elder or Tender out. Rather than having a dead card it's better to try to pull off your main combo more reliably.

+1 for the sake of Flash ban

Klancik if you have a turn 1 Flash Hulk, just go for the breakfast line, no need for consult. Blood Pet is also a pretty huge dip in card quality compared to the other cards in this list; it's better to just keep B open on top of your Flash if you need to go for the Spellseeker line.

Narset, Parter of Veils for the wheels section of the maybeboard?

Took this build for a test drive....

+1 for Flash ban.

This is easily the most disgusting thing I've seen a long while. The same feeling when I played against a cEDH deck for the first time using a casual deck.

Older hulk lines had more dead cards, forced mulligans, bad draws, and were overall more subject to disruption. This thing is totally absurd. +1 Time for flash get the boot.

+1 for Flash ban. This deck inhibits deck diversity. You used to be able to play spell-based Control decks and Storm in this format, and now every none-blue deck must play cards like Grafdigger's Cage in order to have a chance of making it to turn 3. If more than one player in a pod is playing Flash Hulk, one of them will win. I really can't believe the rules committee has neglected how format warping this card is.

Any space in here for Cursecatcher/Judge's Familiar as the 6th mana of Hulk creatures to protect against a potential Stifle attempt?

bolthus

They are playable cards but overall much lower impact that other protection spells considering they function similar to countermagic with a lot less application. In the end running another counter-based spell in the slot gets more mileage, if only slightly less convenience in the pile.

While Narset, Parter of Veils isn't strictly a poor card her role isn't really at home in this deck. She introduces a much more grind-based, sorcery speed win to a deck, but in this case the deck isn't really hurting for higher impact grind cards (Smothering Tithe, Compost, Rhystic Study, etc.) which are more difficult to interact with and similarly extend a game by existing.

Unfortunately, she also doesn't stop Thassa's Oracle lines which is another mark against her. In this case it's better to run the wheels if they are the type of gas you want in your deck, but not lean too much farther into it than that.

What TWCE said. Basically it's just not a needed card and lowers the card quality more than need be.

AlwaysSleepy this list tastes kinda soft like a nutter butter

Any consideration for Narset's Reversal and/or Spell Snare?

Both are useful pieces of interaction. Snare both works aggressively against Flash and Thassa's Oracle or defensively against 2-cmc interaction. Reversal can replace Flash (if an opponent or several put Flash on the stack) or rearrange the stack favorably.

Also, Angel's Grace seems like a more versatile and better Stifle/Trickbind because it effectively stops the activated ability of Thassa's Oracle (at split second speed) and plays buddy to Ad Naus.
