Merfolk Tribal: Once one of the weakest archetypes to ever grace casual commander, with releases from both Ixalan and its forthcoming brother, Rivals of Ixalan, and the spoiler of the new legendary Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca, I thought it was finally time for Merfolk to shine in the EDH limelight.

The gameplan is fairly simple; make our lovely fish men and women big and buff to ram into opponents till their life totals are zero, or get King Fish big enough to threaten for sweet unblockable commander damage. We're playing aggro, the point is fairly simple, right?

But how do we achieve that goal? We have plenty of tools to achieve that, such as our several lords and pump creatures, like the new Deeproot Elite and Metallic Mimic, the ever-so glorious Murkfiend Liege finds himself yet another home to call his own by making Kumena's abilities even more useful, and, speaking of which, the big bad King Fish himself can pump out +1/+1 counters for all of the Merfolk in play, even more reliably with cards like Merrow Commerce and Quest for Renewal to help untap all of your Fish men for more buildup to constantly put pressure on your opponents each turn. With dear King Fish's abilities and low mana costs, it's relatively easy to get your damage per round pretty up there, even for a casual Tribal deck.

Any suggestions or questions, please feel free to leave them down for me, I will definitely keep an eye out for them and please leave an upvote if you like the decklist. Thanks y'all, Tomato, out!
