Feedback Welcome.

I've got an Ashen Rider that I was thinking of putting in here. Rescue from the Underworld could also be pretty sweet with all the enter the battlefield effects going on here.

But, what to take out for them?

I honestly think you don't really need to put either of those guys in the deck. They just serve as personal preference more than actually contributing to the theme of the deck, but it's your call.

How does the current layout look to you?

Looks solid to me, plenty of life gain and the mana for Oloro. At first glance my only real suggestion is to put in a Temple of the False God and maybe Venser's Journal.

I've got a spare temple I could put in. I will need to acquire the Journal however.

Thanks very much for the feedback!

No problem at all, glad to help. Feel free to help out with my new Rafiq deck, it's still kind of in its prototype phase.

Boon Reflection , Exquisite Blood , Sanguine Bond Heroes Remembered , Celestial Mantle Beacon of Immortality Thankfully this is why we have commander damage.

All so if you are feeling really ballsy there is Minion of the Wastes and Angelic Chorus

Those are some great suggestions. I think Boon Reflection and Exquisite Blood are good candidates for this deck.

Acquired Erebos, God of the Dead swapping out Greed for it.

Tainted Sigil is a great artifact to run with this kind of deck.

If you really want to put in Exquisite Blood, prepare to be an instant target. That plus Sanguine Bond = game over.

Tainted Sigil looks great. I'll add that to the maybe list. I'm wondering how combo-tastic I can be with it. I'm mostly doing smallish damage at the moment with this deck, no big swings.

As for Exquisite Blood , Sanguine Bond , I'll have to think about that interaction. My playgroup is very casual. So, that could be a killjoy in the deck. However, both cards do work with the Commander and I don't have a lot of get the combo out quickly or consistency level of tutoring in this deck, so it may never be an issue. If I had to keep one, what would the suggestion be?

December 16, 2013 9:07 p.m.

I'd recommend against the combo if it's casual. I play solely casual with my friends and have come across this sort of dilemma before (especially Spell Crumple + Tunnel Vision). It just becomes unfun for the others playing with you, and casual is more about having fun than anything else.

As for which to keep, I'm not too sure. Exquisite Blood may work better since it can activate Oloro more than once per upkeep, making it effectively more powerful than Sanguine Bond. Though either one would be very good.

I had him in the deck at one point. He's very fragile and his ability requires a mana investment.

I tossed him out because more times than not, I think I'd end up just using him as a chump blocker. Even though Sanguine Bond only hits one opponent, I prefer it because it's more resilient and doesn't require me to keep mana open.

I'll keep him in mind though. I do like that he hits every opponent not just the one. Thanks!

The deck looks good! +1 from me.

Final Judgment might be a better choice then Day of Judgment because the oracle text would Remove cards from the game instead of destroying them which can get you around any indestructible creatures. Slightly high colorless mana cost of 4 versus 2, but can be very worth it.

Oblation may also be helpful for removal as it puts a pesky card back in the owner's library instead of the graveyard and it can be used on the general or a PW making the player have to search for it or wait for it to be drawn again.

Souls of the Faultless are an interesting choice. I'll add to the maybeboard. Many thanks!

Funny you should mention exile board wipes. I met up with Craterhoof Behemoth , Avacyn and a few other buds on the board. I was really really dreaming of an exile board wipe at that point in time. I'm thinking that Merciless Eviction would be my first choice because it's more versatile. But, I'll add Final Judgement to the maybeboard as a second option. I'll need to think of how many I need.

I appreciate the feedback. Thanks so much.

I really like Duskmantle Seer . It's got the right amount of, I'm being nice to you if only you didn't pack your deck full of big nasties.

Polluted Bonds is quite a gem too. There tends to be a lot of ramp in my meta and in EDH in general.
