Second attempt at Origins draft. 8-person group. Maybeboard contains entire pool of cards picked.

Talk about a perfect drafting session. I went in wanting to try BG Elves, but I ended up opening a Pia and Kiran Nalaar in pack #1 (I'm starting to think they like me) and second picked a foil Sentinel of the Eternal Watch soooooo... Yeah, things started out strong. I think people realized White and Red were being overpicked last time and tried to avoid them this time around. After the first pack, it was pretty obvious at least one person saw those colors were mostly open because I started getting worse picks pack #2 and on, but I still started out way too strong and still managed to get some prime picks later on (including opening a Kytheon's Irregulars in pack #3).

I ended up making a pretty fast WR aggro deck that also has a pretty nice suite of removal and synergy. I'm not entirely sure I'll ever be able to top how well this session turned out; I just got THAT lucky. Kytheon's Irregulars and Sentinel of the Eternal Watch just end games and Pia and Kiran Nalaar just do so much that it's kind of an unreasonable card (especially if you have even a couple other ways to get artifacts on the field).

To top things off, one of my prize packs contained a foil Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh.

Final record was 6-0-0.

Notable card observations:

• Foil Avaricious Dragons don't entirely mind Suppression Bonds. I don't know if that's also true for non-foil versions...
• Kothophed, Soul Hoarder is a very viable way to kill your opponent when they have it on the field. Don't try it, but it can definitely happen.
