Third attempt at a Origins draft session. 8-player group. Maybeboard contains entire pool of picked cards.

Opened Graveblade Marauder in pack #1. Passed and saw a Sentinel of the Eternal Watch which I snap picked because you just don't pass that up (although I do have to wonder what the first pick over that was). Later I ended up hate picking a Skysnare Spider and a Rhox Maulers when nothing else looked good (Green seemed to be pretty open and I eventually switched into it after not getting enough out of Black). I somehow ended up with three Evolving Wilds so I decided to just play my best cards from the three colors I'd drafted most.

Deciding to run cards like War Oracle, Skysnare Spider, and Unholy Hunger all in one deck proved to be pretty difficult at times. While the Evolving Wilds really helped, they didn't always do enough. I wish I hadn't passed on a Llanowar Wastes, but that was before I knew what colors I was running (besides White) and I stand by that decision.

Final record was 4-2-0.

Notable card observations:

• Graveblade Marauder does a lot of work both defending and attacking. It's also surprisingly easy for it to get hits in.
