Fourth attempt at an Origins Draft session. 8-player group. Maybeboard contains entire pool of picked cards.

I went in wanting to play UW Something and opened a Mizzium Meddler. Prettynot-awful start, right? Pass. Second pick shows no White cards, mediocre Blue cards, other stuff, and a foil Possessed Skaab so I picked it thinking UB might be fun to play. Yeah, it was probably a mistake picking it so soon, but... There is no but; it was just a straight up mistake. Things didn't look great, but there wasn't anything that justified switching colors so I played things out. Managed to pull another Possessed Skaab and a Graveblade Marauder as well as a bunch of Separatist Voidmages, but not much else.

The deck ended up being stronger than I expected while making it, but I only managed to win games where I managed to draw out most of Voidmages and I typically lost the grindier match-ups even if I did draw enough of them.

Ultimately I wish I could have gotten at least one copy of Unholy Hunger or Cruel Revival.

Final record was 4-2-0

Notable card observations:

• Separatist Voidmage. Why does no one pick it? It's a great card! Aw well. Both times I've played Blue in an Origins draft I've managed to get plenty of copies of it and they always do a pretty strong amount of work.
