I've got to ask. Why Jareth, Leonine Titan? And as a wincon?

• I'm running a fairly high curve, so I'm reluctant to cut a land, even though I'm running a lot of rocks.
• Luminarch Ascension is pretty good, but is easily countered by just targetting me... and I'm already drawing a lot of heat :)
• Test of Endurance is good, and I may swap it for one of my beatsticks. It is the cheesieness that has held me back so far.
• Cyclonic Rift is allready in the deck. Is it legal to build a blue deck without it?

@shermanido37 Mr. Jareth, Leonine Titan has always been in the deck. He is not that great, but the protection from everything is very handy. He is tagged as win condition, for two reasons

1. The deck's main win condition is beatdown
2. He did not fit into any other categories

If you have a better suggestion for the slot, I'd love to hear it.

You may like Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite as a win con. With or without lots of creatures, the card is just insane.

Have you tried Hatred? Its dangerous to play it big, since you paid life even if someone kills the target in response, but its a nice gamble to make to ''one shot'' someone ;) (even with another player's creature in ffa, or even better: their commander)

Which version of your Oloro decks has proven to be more solid (or Daxos for that matter? Esp. considering when playing with 4-5 players?

@Scorprix I am willing to try out Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite agin instead of Mr. Jareth, Leonine Titan. I am playing him because of his resillience and for some reason he is working out for me.

@purpleganja that could acctually be interesting. I almost never put mr. Orio on the field, but the one-shot gamble fits my play style nicely, though I do find the card a bit inferior.

@RoddimusPrimeWell this is the only one I have played. I'm still designing Leeching Cotton: Oloro's Couch and I don't want to buy it before I'm satisfied - it may take a couple of months before I have assembled it and playtested it. Daxos' Enchanted Spirits is inferior to both designs, but is just a fun alternative. Of the three of them I guess Leeching Cotton: Oloro's Couch is going to end up on top in regards to efficiency. The other two are more enjoyable for everyone.

Currently I have just assembled Miss Coupon never pays the retail price and Karlovation - Taxation is extortion and will be play testing and adjusting those for the coming months. I only play EDH 1-2 (full) days a month, so it takes some calendar time to get it right :)

Oh damn I was looking into building an Oloro deck and this is almost the same as my list... it looks a little better and more consistent tho especially with that land base. I think i'm going to steal like 90% of your deck now thanks. My only question is why Jareth, Leonine Titan? He seems a little out of place

@King_Oriax Well it is probably just nostaliga and his resilience that makes me play Mr. Jareth, Leonine Titan. Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite has been suggested as an alternative.

If you do rework the deck, I would advice you to find room for Bloodchief Ascension and see if you can lower the average casting cost a bit.

I understand your reasoning for not putting Luminarch Ascension in. I believe Angelic Accord is a much better fit. I would take out Sphinx of the Steel Wind for it, since 8 is a lot to pay for a fancy 6/6 beater.

• I am running Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Triskelion in Grimgrin, Combo-Swarm-Swine and my play group hates it. I think it is a nice combo, but it is also a bit boring.

• Great suggestion! It makes sense to add it, but I'm not sure if I can find stuff to take out. My prime candidate is Greed, but I still think that has more value than Angelic Accord.

• Sphinx of the Steel Wind --> Bloodchief Ascension: Lowers ACMC significantly, and is so much more value in the long run.
• Elspeth, Sun's Champion --> Rune-Tail, Kitsune Ascendant: I have many high-value creatures I want to protect, and plenty of control.
