Thanks for the +1 and let me know how it playtests. So far I've had a lot of fun playing it. I hope that it does get you back into standard. Sometimes just finding the right deck helps. Good luck!

wheres Gideon, Ally of Zendikar? hes just good in any white deck. his +1 adds 5 power added to the board, he can defend himself or get in more damage by producing 2/2's with his 0 ability, his emblem buffs your creatures, which you can do as soon as he comes out if needed (He will die if you ultimate him right off the bat though). Check out my take on a black white deck that splashes green at Warriors Win

I'm not saying that Gideon, Ally of Zendikar isn't good. I'm just saying that he doesn't fit the vibe of an Orzhov style deck. Plus with his price tag at $30+, he's not a good fit for my wallet either. He's an ok card for this deck, but a better choice for other decks. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Scorprix used to play a warriors build in these colors, did really well. Might want to look into that.

Playtested against Temur Ramp/Eldrazi and Jeskai Aggro, won both, well done!

As I looked through the cards, I saw that more of these guys were warriors that I realized. I was intentionally trying to avoid the W/B Warriors decks, just because they didn't appeal to me, and they lacked that traditional Orzhov flavor. I looked a lot of those decks when I was searching for inspiration, and almost all W/B decks in standard are some variant of Warriors. I appreciate the input, but I want to avoid that particular build. I'm not saying its not good, but I'm personally just not feeling it for myself.
Wow, I'm glad to hear that the playtesting did well. Any of the games stand out? Did anything cool happen? Or did you just blow your opponent's out of the water? Thanks for letting me know how the deck performed.

My main problem was against the Jeskai Aggro. Specifically Dragonlord Ojutai, with the hexproof thing, which is why you have Celestial Flare, but with my bum luck, I didn't have it. Otherwise; I found no major flaws. Great job, and keep it up!

Yeah, Celestial Flare and Tragic Arrogance are the only ways around hexproof creatures. Until you get to the sideboard options. Thanks again for the feedback and support.

Zulaport Cutthroat would be great for this deck. Adds some insurance to your creatures.

Since you are not really running that many non-creature spells, I'd recommend putting in Battle Brawler instead of Seeker of the Way. It just seems like a better fit in this deck and it can handle Deathmist Raptor really well.

Thanks, that is actually a great suggestion. The primary reason I was running Seeker of the Way was as a means to counteract some life loss. I think I will play test the Battle Brawler and see how it runs. Thanks for the great suggestion.

Would you consider putting in a knight of the white orchid?

It's actually in my pile of test cards for some more play testing. Right now I was trying out Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit, that's the next one I was going to play test with. That helps with a bit of ramping, and with Odric, Lunarch Marshal, everything can benefit from it's first strike. Thanks for the suggestion. Stay tuned, I'll let you know how it play tests with it.

I like this deck a lot. This might actually be the deck that gets me into standard, but since I'm not already, no suggestions. But, a +1 from me, and I'll playtest this on untap.in and tell you how it works!
