Orzhova midrange deck, emphasis on mixed auras and life gain/life loss.

Ethereal Armor decks are currently dominating by slapping on a buttload of pumping auras on hexproof creatures like Geist of Saint Traft.

This is going to be a much worse strategy once Glaring Spotlight is released.

So my take on this is the Orzhova variant with an emphasis on various cheap auras (rather than just pumping ones), midrange creatures and life gain/life loss.

Main idea is:

Control the board with (relatively) cheap enchantments.

Control the combat phase by Vampire Nighthawk / High Priest of Penance + Skeletal Grimace .

End the game with life gain/life loss or creatures pumped up by ethereal armor.

There are some nice evasion options here with Vampire Nighthawk / Cartel Aristocrat / Gift of Orzhova .

Sideboard is obvious:

Insert more Duress, Witchbane Orb and more creatures against control decks.

Insert more Oblivion Ring, Ultimate Price or Burden of Guilt for more control.

Insert more Knights of appropriate color protection depending on what deck you're playing against. They can become your evasion stompers with a crapload of auras, or be your unkillable blockers against aggro. Or both.

Moved Geralf's Messenger, Exquisite Blood and some other enchantments to maybeboard.

Added 2x Martial Law for more consistent control.

Added 2x Oblivion Ring

Added 1x Gift of Orzhova

Added 1x Orzhov Charm to avoid creature+aura removal (plus more situational life gain from Cathedral Sanctifier or a niche removal spell).

Added 1x Vampire Nighthawk cause I needed a creature and they're awesome.

Moved1x Skeletal Grimace to sideboard.

Moved 1x High Priest of Penance to sideboard.

Moved one of each of the Knights to mainboard for more consistent creature draw (no use in having those auras if you can't use em).

As soon as I get a chance to test this in practice, will post more updates.
