Numerous means of gaining and spending life lead to drowning the field in tokens or, more likely, accruing enough chip damage to end the game with a Bond of Agony or potentially swinging for the kill with amped Pridemates. Aside from the Pridemates, the only creatures are the soul sisters and Suture Priest; the Pridemates were a decision after finding purely token-based builds a little weak to early aggro. Bitterblossom and Lingering Souls give us consistent creature token production while Secure the Wastes gives us a quick token early in the game or can be used to dump mana and flood the board (and thus generate a ton of life) later in the game. Dismember and Sundering Growth give a little bit of targeted problem removal if necessary. Authority of the Consuls is a damn good card but ultimately drops to a 2-of due to being less valuable against decks that don't rely on creatures - it can easily be removed entirely via sideboarding, especially against control decks.

Obvious weakpoints for this deck are burn and removal, given that virtually all creatures are 1/1 weenies and it's fairly important that at least a couple of of your creatures stay on the board to create a constant drip of life for you to spend. Adding the Pridemates helps with this somewhat - while an opponent will want to clear the life generators, you also can't just leave a 2-cost 6/6 beater on the board, either. If your opponents bring a lot of enchantment hate to the table, you may want to consider adding Greater Auramancy to keep your Trespasser's Curse and Bitterblossom alive. You may want to either hold creatures in your hand or find a way to recover them from the graveyard if you suspect they'll use a Damnation or Wrath of God to wipe the board.
