I designed this deck from scratch as a passive/defensive lifegain/steal standard affair. The main mechanic is extort and relies on cards like Debt to the Deathless to nuke opponents. Card combos like Vizkopa Guildmage and Crypt Incursion punish opponents for killing your defenses. This deck can hold its own against the tapping variation of Control, and Agro. Unfortunately, if you cannot gain enough life in time, Burn will eventually get the better of you. This deck is designed so it will work perfectly with only 2 Plains and many Swamps; or 2 Swamps and many plains. I would be appreciative of any advice, as this is the deck I use.
