Popalofiti, Aven Skirmisher is a good one drop, but it is only a 1/1 with flying. With Blood-Chin Rager on the field, most of my creatures already become difficult to block so the need for flying is minimal. Seeker of the Way was left out due to the deck not running many non-creatures. As for Raiders' Spoils it was left out due to it being a four drop, and with any luck the game should be over by turn 5 or 6 anyway. Harsh Sustenance seems like it would work well with the theme of the deck but not sure what could be removed to add it.
Feel free to vote on the deck.

Just saying, you curve out at 4, you don't need 22 lands. Also, I understand budget is your goal, but Brutal Hordechief is soooo damn strong. The deck could use at least one more.

If you can get it,sorin is on of the best finishers for this deck.

IzzetGolgariLovechild, Thank you for the suggestions. Have added a full playset of Brutal Hordechief and cut down to 20 lands.
Also included a play set of Temple of Silence to help stabilize the mana base.

here is my deck Black and White Warrior
I think you need some Ultimate Price and or Utter End
I also think you should switch your Gods of Passage out for Sorin, Solemn Visitor

I feel like 20 lands isn't enough for this deck, do you consistently get up to 3 or 4 lands before turn 6?

Personally, for my rendition of this deck, the land count is just fine. Sometimes a little low, but all around, you don't need many lands for this deck to hit its stride. It revolves around two and one drops with a tasty four drop every now and then. But that's just me.

Goody, I used to run 22 lands, but I found that using IzzetGolgariLovechild's suggestion of dropping to 20 lands, actually made the deck a little more reliable.
Don't forget to vote on the deck...

This list still seems to miss the mark a bit IMO because it relies on 1 and 2-drops but its most powerful cards are 3 and 4 CMC creatures that it can't reliably cast. If the opponent plays Drown in Sorrow or if they play a blocker and you don't have one of your 5 removal spells, yo'll start losing the game right there and then.
If you're going hyper aggro with few lands and tons of 1/2 drops, then remove some number of hordechiefs and foremosts, as they are essentially expensive win-more cards (they are onky good if you have board presence) in this deck. Add more removal or something

Black white warriors REFORGED for DTK Playtest

SCORE: 8 | 4 COMMENTS | 1832 VIEWSThis is my deck if you wanna make it more aggro up your one drops because really you can never have too many, battle brawler is a beast, have a look at mine I've come 1st undefeated last 3 FNM weeks and came 2nd on gameday, too many hordechief keep at 2 you don't want a hand of 4 drops, also take out your spells really not worth having except Return to the Ranks, cut your high drops down and add Mardu Shadowspear it's a good card and can help get you back or over the line with dash, your running athreos which I love and you should consider Blood-Chin Fanatic it works so well with athreos and can act as a finisher, also swap whip with Spear of Heliod it'll work better and make your guys more durable, and woe reaper is a main board card it's a 2/1 for one which is good and let's you gain life by exiling enemy graveyard creatures which ruins dirty discard or delve good basis but needs a little work, I don't understand why people don't like dragon hunter and woe reaper they beast cards and act as trigger for Battle Brawler if you build it right b/w warriors one of the most durable decks out there your guys just won't stay dead and will make people scoop when they crux and it achieves nothing haha

You asked for my feedback on your deck and here it is. Drop the Dragon Hunter from your main board. In all honesty, he's a 2/1 with a useless effect. You'd be better off running Dromoka Warrior, but don't. I'd put in a playset of Mardu Woe-Reaper, he's saved me in plenty of games. That one life goes a long way and it never hurts to exile from your own graveyard. Too many copies of Brutal Hordechief, drop it down to two because a hand full of four drops isn't good. Keep agro in mind. Your focusing on good 1, 2 and 3 drops. To me, even three drops are a little slow. So your main focus will be one and two drops. Battle Brawler. I hate him in your build. I tried him in my warrior build but most of my deck is black, so he was terrible. Same thing going on here. I'd drop him for someone that will support your dudes more. In regards to your man curve. You need more one drop creatures. In agro I like to cap it off at 12 one drops dudes. Mardu Shadowspear is great for that. Some people prefer Dragon Hunter because he's a 2/1, but I like Shadowspear because no matter what, when he attacks, they're taking one. Now away from creatures. Secure the Wastes is a great card I agree and I ran it in my initial build, but it's just too slow. You need a lot of mana to actually make it work. Valorous Stance is an amazing card, but it doesn't compliment the agro factor quite like Athreos, God of Passage does. Pacifism. Great card, just not exactly what you want in regards to dealing with creatures, also, it's at sorcery speed. You want most if not all of your spells to be at instant speed. I'd recommend Ultimate Price. You don't need Whip of Erebos in your main board. Not even sideboard. With Reaper, Sorin, Foul Tounge Shriek and Hordechief you should stay ahead on life, also you don't need to reanimate at all. Add in another land or two because 20 is REALLY low.
Other than that, I give the deck as a whole an 8/10.

You can drop 1 battle brawler, they are great and all but 3 maybe a bit too much, maybe drop one for Blood-Chin Fanatic, its good for punching that damage through as well as gaining life, it basically makes the creature become unblockable with lifelink but sacs it. Also for side, maybe change Crux of Fate out for End Hostilities, with crux it may not kill everything, and you aren't running dragons so end host may be better, it as well kills the permanents attached as well

Thanks for leading me here and commenting on my Warrior deck.
I would remove 4 pacifism. I just don't think it's relevant outside of Limited.
Thanks for sharing and I do like it.

If you are running 4 hordechiefs, no need for foul-tongue shriek, replace with something like Murderous Cut or Ultimate Price
May 15, 2015 7:57 p.m.
I think SantiagoValdez nailed all the key points. Get rid of Pacifism in exchange for something like Ultimate Price. I would also bring a play set of Mardu Woe-Reaper and drop Foul-Tongue Shriek. Foul-Tongue Shriek works better in decks with a lot of token generation and you are playing double duty with the Brutal Hordechief which I think is unnecessary. Battle Brawler is also a tough one to get going in a BW deck. I use him and the Foul-Tongue Shriek in my mardu deck to much better success than I did in my BW warriors. Check out my decks below for ideas, I am in love with Warrior decks right now and welcome the critic as we all look for the perfect synergy.

I will admit that Pacifism does appear to under perform in the current meta, and I will be looking for to replace the card.
As for Mardu Woe-Reaper, I might look at removing a couple of copies of Bloodsoaked Champion to fit a couple more into the deck. Though currently, I usually side board in an extra Mardu Woe-Reaper or extra Dragon Hunters depending on what kind of deck I'm facing.
As for Foul-Tongue Shriek, its been responsible for quite a few of this deck's victories. I know its playing double duty with the Brutal Hordechief, which was the reason they were included in the first place. I'm not sure I agree with removing the card.

Return to the Ranks if you need that Crux of Fate for whatever reason ive thought about using the two in mine just as a back up if i get overwhelmed because obviously youre going to do a nasty board wipe and then immediately have the advantage with all your 2 cost warriors.
May 20, 2015 3:36 p.m.
I think it will depend on your meta. If you don't play against decks that run a lot of removal or sweepers and your creatures tend to stick around on the battlefield, then the shriek is great and you should run 4. If you play against decks that like to kill your creatures, you'll draw a shriek later in the game and it will do very little, if anything. Running Athreos helps you make the shriek better - if the synergy between the cards is working well for you then I don't think you should take them out.
Your mana curve is a serious issue, however. 20 lands with 7 4-drops and 6 3-drops can make you lose a game after the first turn. If you don't believe that, just keep track of how many games you lose to your mana.

Well I don't know about others, but I for one suggest Glaring Aegis as a brilliant card for Warrior Aggro. It just does a lot very, very well. For a single mana you get to remove a blocker and increase your damage output while still providing a solid fighter in the process.
Here is my own warrior deck I've been running so far. I hope you find something interesting.

Drop Dragon Hunter and Dromoka Warrior for the rest of the Mardu Woe-Reaper set.
Popalofiti says... #1
Mardu Woe-Reaper is only sideboard worthy. I'd actually switch him with Aven Skirmisher, it's a nice one drop and it's a warrior! You could also use Seeker of the Way, but you seem to be lacking noncreature spells. Harsh Sustenance is OK to add, but I would for sure add Raiders' Spoils!
Hope I could help!
