Anger of the Gods Wonderful in this format, and absolutely crucial in this deck, if I don't hit it by turn 3 against an aggro deck, I'm Rakdos fodder.

Dreadbore Kills almost everything at sorcery speed for 2 mana, what's not to like?

Thoughtseize Hand disruption to put them on the back foot turn 1.

Mizzium Mortars 2 mana to kill Blood Baron of Vizkopa, or pretty much whatever I want. And the overload cost isn't too hard to reach for a big sexy board wipe.

Rakdos Keyrune I love this guy, hard to kill, some solid damage, and the mana ramp is very useful.

Elspeth, Sun's Champion Once she hits the board it turns into a clock, and even if they can kill her you can usually wipe the board of big monsters first.

Blood Baron of Vizkopa He's just scary to have on the field in the first place, damn near unkillable and just about immune to removal. This guy is a monster, and if he manages to blow up, the game is pretty much over.

Boros Reckoner Don't hit me, just don't do it. The ultimate 2 for 1, what's not to love about this cow.

Desecration Demon I swear to god I wanted a foil playset of this goon when he was a buck a piece. I missed my chance. Everyone knows how scary this guy is, and he usually eats removal spells for me.

Obzedat, Ghost Council Pain Drain and Gain every turn, this is one of my favorite cards, flavorwise. He hits hard too, and you can always whip him back out if he dies, so this guy is pretty damn hard to get rid of.

Stormbreath Dragon He hits hard and fast, the pro-white is very relevant as well.

Chained to the Rocks Cheap and tricky removal. Chain down Gods or just pesky monsters. Very handy.

Underworld Connections I don't like expending life when I can help it, what with half my landbase being shock lands, but the hand advantage is crucial, especially in a control deck.

Whip of Erebos Necessary for use with Obzedat, Ghost Council, but the Lifegain and Unearth are very handy as well.

Boros Charm I love this card, the options are great. Survive your own Anger of the Gods. Double strike on fat creature, or just burn down your opponents.

Hero's Downfall Just simple fast, powerful removal. Spot treat what your boardwipe missed, or take out a pesky planeswalker.

Mogis, God of Slaughter I rarely have the devotion to get him down to earth and swinging but the sac/damage trigger is gorgeous when coupled with Desecration Demon. I'm still playtesting him but so far he's pulling his own weight.
