Okay so i built this one up and started using the general as a main weapon for direct damage. I was proven wrong. I play only multiplayer and there's always enough control to make one single creature looks like crap. No matter how strong it is. For that i was sent back to square one and had to reformulate the whole deck so i could still use it's raw power. So this came up

Thromok the Insatiable it still the main core card, but only cuz it is just too out of proportions. The deck can handle without it. But surely makes things easier/faster.

So you might think Devour X is an outscaled ability, but what about Devour 2X, 3X? try it out Doubling Season, Primal Vigor

Don't get me wrong here. The direct damage stuff is always gonna be up with this deck. For that we got strong creatures and enough cheezy enchants Beastmaster Ascension, Fervor, Fires of Yavimaya, Gratuitous Violence, Rancor. And other stuff Xenagos, God of Revels, Nylea, God of the Hunt, Kamahl, Fist of Krosa, Skarrg, the Rage Pits and Kessig Wolf Run

I put up Loxodon Warhammer for some sustain, but mostly cuz it gets trample as well and the abscense of trample is thromok's great flaw. For that disavantage also got the Mage Slayer, for pure damage without targeting or even hitting. Tap, you die.

Needless to say the major idea here is to spawn enough tokens in order to cast the beast and for that we got Awakening Zone, Avenger of Zendikar, Dragon Broodmother, Dragonlair Spider, Dragonmaster Outcast, Jade Mage, Kazandu Tuskcaller, Mycoloth, . But there are some expendable creatures as well just to be devoured as Mitotic Slime, Wood Elves, Anger, Brawn, Solemn Simulacrum, Genesis.

That said now we go for the main combo of the deck. Warstorm Surge is strong enough to play any red deck, but it goes crazy proportions particularly here. The thromok just became a X damage bomb just for fun. Not enough? okay. The other main enchant is Feed the Pack. You can start eating like 4 creatures and casting the general 16/16. So you sacrifice him and put 16 wolves to the battlefiled. And suddenly you cast him 256/256. Oh that scalated quickly for you? Not close. The 16 wolves just triggered 16 times Vicious Shadows, Warstorm Surge ability. Oh no, That math went Wrong. Cuz you got either Doubling Season, Primal Vigor or Parallel Lives on the table. And you go for 32 wolves in worst situation (cuz parallel lives dont double counters), and you gonna go for a 512/512 Thromok. Oh im just opting to ignore the Purphoros, God of the Forge.

Hope you understand the Death's Presence is here just to be arrogant. It was not even needed. it's Kinda pointless actualy right? No it's not. Cuz you now can transform any 1/1 saproling into a new monster. Remember you always got Soul's Fire and Fling to get the job done.

Remember that Gratuitous Violence is not only combat damage so you might as well double any kind of damage that this can trigger, aka Soul's Fire and Fling

In case you wanna make things more ridiculous you always put the Conjurer's Closet. It works perfectly in this deck. You can flick the Thromok for rescale or to make the previous combo more ridiculous. And as the deck got several creatures with triggered abilities its great to start flicking Ulasht, the Hate Seed and make another titan.

Well by the way... in case you didnt notice Mana Echoes is gonna produce you enough colorless mana to do whatever the hell you feel like. Let's see... Infinite saprolings with Sprout Swarm?
