@AtlasXII, thanks for the feedback. I agree that Quietus Spike is ridiculous with Ashling. I haven't thought of Eidolon of the Great Revel before, and I will be putting it in this deck IMMEDIATELY!
I agree that Ashling very well could be a forerunner of the TL format, however she isn't very popular. I think she is very terribly underrated.
Update on this deck: 22 match-ups, undefeated. This deck is either really solid, or I need to find better opponents to play with (possibly a little of both).

looks similar to my build...Pyrostatic Pillar is a second eidolon.
Chandra's Spitfire can get pretty fun to Fling same goes for Kiln Fiend. Satyr Firedancer can be good with to the dome spells, espcially with a Basilisk Collar. and we can't forget about our friend, Chain Lightning.

Ryyan, thanks for the suggestion.
I should sideboard some artifact removal, as I haven't played against many artifact decks to need them mainboarded. What cheap artifact removal would you suggest?

well i would do smelt or shattering pulse btw i built this and the main troubled deck was a thopter sword and doran

If you want to main deck artifact-hate, I'd go with things that do other things too. Like Pillage, Torch Fiend, Fury Charm. that way if they don't play a troubling artifact, it's not a dead card. I may be a little bias because I have a little crush on using charms in this format though.

Arcbond has been nasty lately, especially if you are ahead on life and need to blow everything up

babydaggers, you're absolutely right! I just drafted an Arcbond this Saturday also...I'll add it to the deck for tonight's TL FNM.

I like your list a lot, I've always been a big fan of Ashling in EDH and I think Tiny Leaders is a format where she can be even more of a timebomb. I like Explorer's Scope in order to get more lands, but I question it's slot in the deck when you only have ashling and 1 phoenix to attack with. I think Terrain Generator might be a better option, even though it costs more. But it's never a dead card if you can't attack like the scope. And this way you can fit in Pyrostatic Pillar, which definitely needs to be mainboard. I'd also ditch Quietus Spike, since you actually have to deal combat damage, which will rarely happen with Ashling. And this way you can fit in Eidolon of the Great Revel, which also needs to be mainboard :3

I think Londonbrig0 has some great ideas. Looking at sleeving this up myself. And for the cost, I can't afford not to... especially with the record you have. I was curious if you've thought about Guttersnipe or Young Pyromancer in the deck, probably counter-intuitive in some instances but extra damage off the top. You did mention you kept it creature light because of Ashling, but I'd be interested in your thoughts

Londonbrig0 and Thyrd, both of you guys have some solid suggestions, and they would be great depending on your play style. Keeping the options open is how I like to play, and I swing with Ashling a lot more that most people realize. I found that taking a hand with fewer than 3 lands isn't great for this deck, and I cannot afford to miss a land drop with her, so Explorer's Scope helps me get them to board, regardless if they are in my hand. Pillar and Eidolon are both mainboarded now (I just need to update the decklist), and I also like Guttersnipe in the mainboard. I haven't aquired a Young Pyromancer yet, but like where you're going with the idea. My favorite way to kill my opponent is with repercussion and Ashling's ability, so I probably wouldn't play it the way I like playing...but give it a shot and tell me how you guys do with it!
Thanks for your interest in this brew of mine, and for the feedback and suggestions! You guys ROCK!

I'd say Shard Volley is a must have in any burn list. Other than that, I think you've got this. I especially like the Repercussion interaction. +1 from me.
I'd love your thoughts on my Li'l Berserkers

Thanks for the feedback man, have you looked at Boris Reckoner? Good interactions and targetable damage with a pay for first strike.

Thyrd, that card is awesome! I could see some serious damage being dealt with that. I'd love to put it in my deck, but it can't be played with the white in it, even though it is a hybrid.

Building the deck, have a great interest in making it more awesome. In trades and discussions with several individuals about the deck itself, and through my own study, I've found some cards that I would like to broach w/ you sir.
Smelt is better than Shatter methinks, I'm sure no one will argue that. Fury Charm is also the same price as shatter, and has more uses. So either of those would be better/more usable.
Overmaster Looks fun. It's a one mana draw spell, that will cause them to counterspell it, or you get to cast the next one for a Cavern of Souls.
I could use your thoughts on Slagstorm It's another Anger of the Gods, minus the exile, with an alternate target of a player.
Trumpet Blast was considered for a while wasn't it? Dynacharge is better, for a single target before a fling, or a boast for defense/attack as the overload cost.
Desperate Ritual for mana?
Roast over Flame Slash? don't know if the mana is worth the extra 1 damage, especially at the 3 converted mana cost.
Spells: Fireball, though the other x spells have more options, this one hits players harder. Traitorous Blood To steal their biggest creature and punch them w/ it... Unwilling Recruit (is this card legal in this format?) a steal their creature spell w/ a pump spell for extra damage. Red Elemental Blast in sideboard for blue stuff, any blue stuff. Skullcrack is awesome, you can cast it on an upkeep, but it loses targets for creatures. Faithless Looting w/ Sensei's Divining Top.
Enchants: Impact Tremors I have a standard cheap deck built around this and it's awesome, and great w/ Hordeling Outburst or Dragon Fodder.
Curse of the Pierced Heart A guaranteed damage per upkeep, depends on when you find it... I guess, but worth a look.
Creatures: Ash Zealot for the sideboard, Impact Tremors as a standalone or with Young Pyromancer or Mogg War Marshal for chump blocks/clogs/plummet targets.
Meekstone if it's going to stay creature light, or you're not attacking much, Plummet Could work well with this,
Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle is awesome, and I think Tribal Flames would go well with it. Price of Progress w/ Blood Moon just awesome.
Honestly, I know this is a bunch to read, but these are things I'd like to look at for my deck as well. I've spent the past 4-5 hours of my day researching items, I know I don't have them all, but I think this is worth looking at.
Thanks,
-Thyrd

I love this deck; you've convinced me that Ashling, the Pilgrim could be a forerunner of tiny leaders. I would add that Ashling + Quietus Spike is another major combo for this deck you should play up as a key combo for the deck. I might recommend Eidolon of the Great Revel, either taking the place of a land (21 is a lot in this format) or as a side board. Eidolon will punish your opponent for playing most of their cards in this format.
