Nice deck. I'd recommend adding some Sangromancers. I also love Blackmail for my discard deck, especially when my opponent is down to 3 or less cards. Then it's essentially Coercion for a third the price.

Good suggestions steve_cardigan. I especially like the reliability of Blackmail. It's always nice when a discard has no restrictions on type or CMC. Hmm, wonder how I could work it in for testing...maybe drop a Quest or Tutor and an Inquisition and make it a two of...Inquisition is better in the first turns but after that Blackmail would most likely provide better value...

I like this deck - I run a discard deck as well. I use Liliana's Caress and Megrim in mine though.
You might enjoy Shrieking Affliction, I like the way damage stacks up between it and Quest for the Nihil Stone
Mire's Toll is pretty decent also, since it let's you get a look at your opponents cards assuming you have a few swamps out.

Thanks for the input rll86. I run Shrieking Affliction in my experimental Pox/Multiplayer discard deck and it's really nice but I think I'm just going to leave it in that one for now to try out the cards I've got here. Now, Mire's Toll...that's a thought. I'll have to give it a try. While I love the flavor of Liliana's Caress and Megrim I feel like they lose a little value as the game goes on when playing mono black. The opponent's hand is gonna be cleared out pretty darn quick. I think in a blue/black deck that forces your opponents to draw and then discard along with Underworld Dreams is a great place for those two cards.

Waste Not is a great card for discard decks.
