Yay human aggro :D

Well... mostly. heh.

I like the direction this deck is going. Are you excited for gatecrash? Cards like Boros Elite are just the tip of the iceberg. Not to mention the bloodrush ability. It could really help having that buff spell on a double strike creature. I mean... an uncounterable buff spell? Seems win.

Could be nasty business in the works.

However... it might include splashing red. Which reminds me. I would like you to take a look at my sig deck The Kessig Township. Its a human deck that has consistenly won on turn 4 at many-a-fnm. People at my store dont like playing against it, so ive been experimenting of late. But i plan on bringing it back for gatecrash with the new toys.

I noticed before, browsing your many comments, that you didnt like Bonds of Faith ? I was debating dropping Selesnya Charm for it, because it gives me the buff (without trample, i know) or it can stop a pesky chump to get in my 6/6 Champion of the Parish with double strike. Selesnya Charm can do that in the way of buff and trample, but Bonds of Faith is a permanent buff. I'm still undecided. Maybe i'll just use boros charm when its revealed.

I'm gonna +1 this guy, however, my only suggestion is to throw in a playset of a mana dork: Arbor Elf and Avacyn's Pilgrim would work here as a 2 of each.

This deck was inspirational into refining my first deck back into MTG after a 15 year retirement. I won't try to hijack traffic to my own deck, but wanted to say thanks and +1.

I really like this deck and wish I went the green white route instead of the blue white route of my deck. I don't really have any constructed criticism but I wanted to say that your deck is awesome! +1

and if you can lend any advice that would be awesome! deck:stalking-season

Great deck it is a blast to play and does really well. One question for you though, since most starting hands require 2 or more of a single color would it be worth taking out Gavony Township and putting back in a plains and forest instead? I find the colorless Township to be more hassle than good. Several times now I had it in play early tying up valuable color I needed. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

Awesome work and I look forward to seeing future decks.

Spinno - Interesting you should bring that up. I think you're right. I haven't actually been able to get my hands on Gavony Township since it was suggested by someone, so I've actually been running this deck without them and I pretty much find that almost all of my mana is being used up/I would be killing them before the Gavony Township , if I had it, would get any real use. Originally my mana-base didn't include them.

I think you might be right in that it's doing more hassle than good, so I'll take them out again. Thanks for letting me know about how that played with the townships.

Thanks for the kind comments and +1s :)

I took this deck to FNM tonight and took first place. 2-1, 2-1 & 2-1 taking all 3 rounds. This deck is a ton of fun with card:Faith's Shield being a huge save multiple multiple times for me. Thank you for sharing this deck with us and am looking forward to seeing what GC will bring. Good times :)

@Shabadoo - Fantastic! That's great news to hear, congratulations on winning!

Yea, card:Faith's Shield is a very sneaky little card with lots of utility which is why I love it, whether it be making your creatures unblockable before attack step via protection to punch home the last few points of damage/protecting from nasty instants/crazy fateful hours on <5 life when your opponent thinks he's got you on the rails and leaves himself open to lethal after you negate all of his damage!

Hi WalzY! I love your deck and was hoping you would take a look at mine, which is a similar G/W aggro deck. This is my current version: Apoptosis Revamped G/W Aggro, which is a revised from my first attempt: Not so Exalted Apoptosis -please help!. I don't want to just Clone your deck, but was hoping you have some insight. My local meta has a lot of G/W aggro that relies on a steap mana ramp to get big green nasties out, which gave the first version of my deck real problems. Any insight you have would be appreciated. Thanks!

ever consider: 4x Hada Freeblade 4x Kazandu Blademaster . it doesn't have the protection but you can just have a side board. Kazandu has a chance of being buffed which I love.

New set has brought great things to the table for a deck like this such as Voice of Resurgence and Unflinching Courage

the way you look to be building this deck i cant help but feel that the theros heroic creatures would fit your build very nicely

for example Phalanx Leader , Fabled Hero , and i feel the best one Favored Hoplite also Akroan Skyguard
