any particular format? edh might be the easiest. You could go with either Progenitus or Child of Alara as the general

i can let you see my deck as well its similar but with a different commander and another type of focus. I dont have all of the gods in yet but it uses the liege monsters and enchantments the lieges are in my opinion one of the strongest devotion support creatures in the game currently because they also support the colors they belong to.

Could go for a few ways to cheat things in with Maelstrom Wanderer , Maelstrom Archangel , Maelstrom Nexus , Wargate , and Genesis Wave . Might need more than just a cultivate to fix your mana so look into things like Farseek , Shard Convergence , and Explosive Vegetation .

Thanks. With all this cmc I'm starting to think how I will boost mana that's needed...

Best ways are Mana Reflection , Prismatic Omen , you could also use the ravnica shocklands because they count as basic lands of the colors they are called so Karametra, God of Harvests can search out any that generate atleast white or green mana. Mirari's Wake is another good one. Collective Voyage while its very group hug actually can help you get the mana you need as quickly as possible.

I love anything that tries to focus on the gods. :D I do have a couple recommendations though.

If you're playing off of their indestructibility, go all out. Throw as many board wipes in there as you can possibly fit. You don't have to worry about them much, the gods take care of their own devotion when you have enough of them out.

If you're going to be playing with basic lands Terrain Generator is a must. I run this is my nekusar build and it has been invaluable for mana acceleration.

Kudos on the Bringers, they are on my list to try out if the Shadowmoor dimigods don't work.

@ElendVenture thanks. I'm open to suggestions what to swap for removals

ElendVenture says... #12

I would say take out the Eldrazi and the Praetors. Neither fit the god flavor, and only Ulamog out of those is indestructible anyhow. Plus, I don't think they are needed in this deck. I would also suggest that you think about putting Avacyn, Angel of Hope into your deck to give all of your non-god creatures indestructible.

I also don't think you need all of the land search cards. A few are fine, but you have a lot. Maybe cut those for a few more sweepers?

Cyclonic Rift , Damnation , Flowstone Slide , No Mercy , Path to Exile , Terminate , Putrefy , Ashes to Ashes , Primal Command , Vandalblast , Comet Storm , Red Sun's Zenith , Black Sun's Zenith are a few good cards that help with removal if you find that you need more answers instead of mana fixing. Not sure about your draw power either, so Mind Spring , and Blue Sun's Zenith might help.

@ElendVenture, GinkoBaloba one question. Did you even checked what cards are already in my deck? Also GinkoBaloba thanks for the list but only few of those cards have sense in my deck.@ElendVenture I didn't wanted to go with avatars and demigods on top of that praetors already proven themselves to be very useful

April 21, 2014 5:28 a.m.

ElendVenture says... #15

I did, and I could have sworn Avacyn wasn't on your list. My bad. :p One other thing you might consider is the Avatar cycle from Prophecy. I know you don't wanna go avatars, but they're pretty useful, each provide 2 devotion to their respective colors. and have the possibility of only costing you 2cmc to play.

gitruih says... #16

ElendVenture thanks but I'll stay with praetors. Only usable avatar is Avatar of Woe on the other hand all praetors are usable and gives 2 devotions to their color

I think that's quite bad card. Never understood why anyone would play it... That +3/+3 is simply not worth the risk

You're going to need to fix your mana like crazy to pull this off. First off you'll need at least 40 lands. You'll also need to take out all colorless lands (except maybe Temple of the False God ), I don't see why you'll need a Reliquary Tower anyway. Lotus Vale also serves no purpose as it just screws up your mana's capability to produce multiple colors at once. & lastly, most of your mana will need to be multi-color. If you can't do something like one of each shock land + one of each buddy land + etc. you could at least do one of each guild gate.A few recommendations; Pillar of the Paruns , Cavern of Souls , City of Brass , Mana Confluence , Gemstone Mine , "Vivid" lands, & the three color lands.

gitruih says... #20

AffinityJesus it's not as bad as it looks like (I mean basic lands). If you noticed pretty much every land search ability tells you to look for a basic land. On top of that there are thing like Chromatic Lantern or Prismatic Omen to fix missing color problem (actually Lotus Vale is for the same reason). Reliquary Tower is a must in every EDH deck. I don't have a lot of draw power but that doesn't mean that my opponent won't bounce all my stuff back with this like Cyclonic Rift etc. I have a hydra deck with Progenitus as general and I already tested the idea of most of lands being multicolored. It's rather slow even though I have this like Burgeoning and Amulet of Vigor

You shouldn't be running cards that fetch basic lands as those usually are subpar to cards like Nature's Lore and Skyshroud Claim that not only grab shocklands, but they also come in Untapped. Running all shocks that are forests is optimal alongside those cards. Check out the land base for my scion deck, as it's pretty stable while keeping the numbers down.

I'm just saying, Fist of Suns . Mint.

Also, the bringers. In particular, Bringer of the Black Dawn and Bringer of the Blue Dawn are great.

@SkitZaY Those 2 was in deck last week just removed for other things. Any suggestions what to swipe for them?

I agree your mana base needs work. It is very iffy the way you have it built and say you get karametra out and cast a creature, oh I will go fetch a shock land because it doesntsay basic on it.

Looking through your list here are two very important sorceries I see missing.

Conflux to grab five important things.

All Suns' Dawn to conflux your grave once.
