marowakcity isn't that what I stated in my deck description?

I love a good combo deck as much as the next guy, but I don't think this will fare well against aggro decks that control the meta at the moment. I would suggest making a spot for a board wipe or two. Even if it makes your combo slower, it should improve your win percentage.

THEEagle thank you for stressing out the point I made as for competitive viability: it is a very important point.
The chance of the deck working is already so low that adding disruption of our own will damage ourself more than it could ever do to any opponent; so no disruption on our side.

Not sure what the current meta looks like, this does seem impractical, however at least it's different, and when it does win I'm sure it's satisfying.

Managem thank you for highlighting such an important point: unfortunately, the deck is wildly impractical. Nonetheless, I find such decks interesting and they sure are a blast to play!

with all of gour casting ability why not toss in some prowess creatures or enigma drake for attacks that dont rely on a ballista.

scapegoat_tom you don't want creatures in order not to rely on your combo: because they couldn't do anything meaningful in this deck, while hurting the consistency of your combo in a way that makes it unfeasible.

What is your win-con here? I playtested and the deck worked as it should (or how I think it should), but I had no way to deal damage or do anything that would win the game even after drawing my whole library. A Jace, Wielder of Mysteries would be an easy win-con, but I understand that wasn't printed when you made this deck (and that would make this deck a modern deck).

Leave paradox engine to the jank-masters of modern, there just isn't enough to work with in standard
