This deck uses the Dualcaster Mage and any of the 3-4 token making spells to get infinite 2/2 Dualcaster Mage's.

Melek, Izzet Paragon is simply an enabler to be able to get to cards faster, he creates a lot of tempo by doing this. Being able to cast Brainstorm twice is awesome.

VALUE

Cast Through Time gets us a lot more value out of our spells and potentially gets us 4-8 copies out of one cast because of all the copy abilities in the deck.

Volcanic Vision - both a potential board wipe and gets us at least one card back from the graveyard. Things get crazy if you copy this before it is gone forever.

Radiate - paired with Clone Legion you get every other players creature board. Or, paired with Winterflame while Dismiss into Dream is out means a complete boardwipe for your opponents and all your creatures might get is either 2 dmg or tapped. Finally, things get silly when you Radiate a Chaos Warp.

Codex Shredder - I feel this inclusion needs an explanation. Its first ability limits Sensei's Divining Top to be almost ineffective. At worst it just gets rid of a card that someone could have potentially used. Its second ability nets you a card from your graveyard--but codex shedder doesn't get exiled. It becomes an Eternal Witness ETB effect outside of green.

WIN-CONS

Sphinx-Bone Wand - Shock, Lightning Bolt or Lava Axe your opponents to death. The sky is the limit.

Talrand, Sky Summoner - speaking of skies, this guy will get you control of the skies.

Guttersnipe - Shock them to death.

Young Pyromancer - at the very least you have blockers.
