Memory Adept —July 7, 2015

-1 Confiscate -1 Latch Seeker +2 Jace, Memory Adept So I got a pair of Jace, Memory Adept and kept it in my box because I always wanted to build a mill deck. But the one condition is that deck should race ProvolonExalted without sideboarding, what I coudn't do, so I kept recycling and recycling ideas.
One day I thought I could put Jace in this deck. Well, it's monoblue, Jace is blue, so why not?
At first I was worried that a deck that is not buit for mill would see Jace as a dead card, but I went with it anyway. And so, it something works, and I have noted five points:
1. People that play casually are something afraid of mill.
2. They hate the idea of seeing their next ten draws going away (even if this doesn't mean you could win by mill)
3. They hate the idea that you have an alternative win-con
4. They focus on Jace so you can do other stuff like build Delvers
5. It actually won me a match! Just kept a blocker and hold a counterspell.

So yeah, for the time being, Jace's in da house!
