i'm super tired of playing with/against the same three decks (with maybe a tweak or two), every friday night. the internet has ruined casual-to-semi-competitive standard; any dingus can type "BEST STANDARD DECK RN" into google. That's my precursor here, in case you wanna suggest i substitute out some of my janky ass flavor choices. i'm using these cards bc i like them! what an odd premise!

i wanna get back to my roots with a BW control-ish deck, smashed together with some artifaction fun.

i'm thinkin some sac nonsense with a combo based (loosely) around Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim /Yahenni/Syndicate Trafficker plus fairly disposable artifact creatures (Hope of Ghirapur, Scrapheap Scrounger, servos from Angel of Invention, Sram's Expertise).

on the control side: mostly familiar black removal choices, plus Fumigate for wrath just in case. also, thought i should prob stay away from board wipe cards like Languish &/or Yahenni's Expertise bc i feel like it would wipe out my own shit more often than not (both Yahenni & Syndicate Trafficker can avoid Fumigate w/ indestructible, but the -x/-x kinda beats the purpose). I JUST DON'T KNOW MAN

threw in some other cards i think are severely & unfortunately underutilized in standard ( Odric, Lunarch Marshal ,Lone Rider  ,my gurl gisela etc. also also: i'm not positive about the artifact quantities. they're set up they way they are now based on my deck's relative curve, but i'm thinking i should prob be running 4x Scrapheap Scrounger & 4x Hope of Ghirapur (& drop Aethersphere Harvester down from 4x to 3x).

edit: i took a set of Lone Rider  's out, along with gisela. i didn't WANT to, but i played a couple rounds w/ this build & the other cards in the 2-drop slash 4-drop slot SEEMED to be hitting more successfully. plz help bc i wanna use these cards (i.e. maybe i should create more of an emphasis on life gain, therefore making either of those cards more of a necessity in the build).
