Looking for a good Zombie to take Bloodflow ConnoisseurMTG Card: Bloodflow Connoisseur's place. Needs a sacrifice at will ability.

Any suggestions?

Replaced Bloodflow ConnoisseurMTG Card: Bloodflow Connoisseur with Demonmail HauberkMTG Card: Demonmail Hauberk. Works pretty well.

Any thoughts?

Diregraf CaptainMTG Card: Diregraf Captain could help you deal damage with the sacrificing of gravecrawler, as could Bloodflow ConnoisseurMTG Card: Bloodflow Connoisseur(on a side note giving you a very big attacker considering you have a decent amoutn of land)

I had Bloodflow ConnoisseurMTG Card: Bloodflow Connoisseur in there originally but I would rather have a zombie to better the chances of GravecrawlerMTG Card: Gravecrawler having a buddy to visit, but there are no standard zombies that can sac a creature at will. I also ended up using the Demonmail HauberkMTG Card: Demonmail Hauberk because it's harder to get rid of most of the time and is a nice buff. Diregraf CaptainMTG Card: Diregraf Captain would add blue which hurts my combo.

umm, i'd go UB on this one...

You'll have Diregraf CaptainMTG Card: Diregraf Captain AND your sac-at-will Grimgrin, Corpse-BornMTG Card: Grimgrin, Corpse-Born (which is not in standard??) You CAN use his ability even when he's already untapped.

I reaally dislike the equipment...

I have another deck, Jinxed Zombie, that uses blue and it has similar effects of making opponents loose life through sacrificing to Fallen IdealMTG Card: Fallen Ideal. I feel like if I added Blue it would essentially become a standard version of that deck. I have the captain and grimgrin in there, but using him as a sac outlet is really hard. The issues that I have with grimgrin are 1. usually he can't stay out for more than 2 turns. 2. He is expensive and easier to remove than an artifact. 3. Adding blue for a vulnerable sac outlet that's expensive to put out, and the captain who's role is essentially already filled doesn't seem worth it.

Play test it and see how it works out. I don't have a sideboard yet and I would love to hear ideas for it and create one.

I like this deck. This is actually similar to what I was trying to do earlier before I splashed blue into my zombie deck. I have to agree with the sentiment that Diregraf Captain adds a lot to the deck if you are willing to splash blue. I think you'd be surprised on how well it works - and you can easily get rid of Falkenrath Noble if you have them.

I do, however, agree with leaving Demonmail Hauberk in. It is underrated and really should be in this deck for easy removal and a nice upgrade for an attacking creature. And it'll give you a chance to attack with Blood Artist
