I like the idea of Trusty Machete because it also isn't an absolutely dead draw if the combo is going off. Maybe replace a single Spidersilk Net with one.
It may still be a good idea to put one of the swords in the sideboard (or even mainboard), but that will need some more playtesting I think.

I'll still be putting the two swords in, one replacing a Path to Exile in the sideboard, and one replacing a Spidersilk Net mainboard, but I'll put in one Trusty Machete mainboard for particularly that scenario. The sword can be a late game Steelshaper's Gift tutor.

I like the idea of Monastery Mentor in here a lot. +1 by the way, I've always liked this, I hadn't realized that I never upvoted it.

Hi friend! Nice deck first of all... I love these aggro style decks, I'm building an elves one. In my opinion, change this Hallowed Fountain for a Glacial Fortress, much better don't you think? You don't have to pay life to add some mana, and the card is cheaper.

But it won't work if I get it in my opening hand an no plains. That is why the shocks and fetches are used, they are flexible in every situation.

I love this deck and have started constructing it. I plan to use it amongst friends (who don't play the strongest decks but aren't quite casual). How good is this in a slightly competitive setting , say if I wanted to take it to my LGS modern nights?

This deck is tier 2, but it honestly depends on which version you play. I've been jumping back and forth between numerous different builds, each with their own or combination of, focus on the supportive engines. The main win con is always Armament Master + Conqueror's Pledge, but it is the supporting cards that change how this deals against other decks.
The 4 supporting cards are as follows: Jeskai Ascendancy, Monastery Mentor, Puresight Merrow and Retract. Auriok Steelshaper (which was just recently removed) can be removed or added depending on your tastes, as it is a combination of both Armament Master and Puresteel Paladin. It does both, but not very well, and serves as a mini 2nd or 3rd game resilience plan.
Each of the 4 cards leaves your deck to play against other decks differently, and will change the number of cards that either make them work, or keep them protected. For example, Puresight Merrow MUST have Paradise Mantle, and would most likely require Lightning Greaves for additional protection. You would have to run 1 more Steelshaper's Gift and one more Lightning Greaves to protect it, and maybe another Leonin Shikari. The advantageous to Puresight Merrow is that you don't have to put too many win cons in as you can just tutor for them, the disadvantages are that it is fragile against both draw chances and opposing removal. I honestly suggest that you get a playset of all the cards listed in my deck list, plus all the ones I suggested in here, and fiddle around with the numbers as much as possible. Different plays are better against different decks, and you'll have to figure out which one works best in your meta.

@Adelysium this deck is competitive... I play a mono white budget version of it and win 5/10 games, with slightly competitive players. All i can guarantee is that playing this deck is really fun if you like combo heavy decks and the game can end very fast. I suggest you this deck.

The mono-white version is definitely more competitive if you don't know what you are facing. I'll be editing this deck's description to put all the different styles of play down.
Soon.

Not sure I get the point of Mana Confluence in this deck, why not just run two more Hallowed Fountain or Flooded Strand?

They were there because I used to run Jeskai Ascendancy, m4ver1k

I would feel that Nomads' Assembly would better, no? Why is it removed?

Quest for the Holy Relic does nothing the moment it enters the battlefield. It is completely worthless when compared to Steelshaper's Gift. As for Nomads' Assembly, A) It costs 6 mana, which is much harder to get to in comparison with 5 mana. It is also worthless against control and removal heavy decks as it relies on me already having a board state advantage, which against those decks, won't happen.

I do not understand how you can get mana on turn 3 to play the Conqueror's Pledge. When your board is 3 land (untapped) a dork with the Paradise Mantle (also untapped) and a Puresteel Paladin and Lightning Greaves, how can you make more mana from playing a new guy, than the mana you used to summon him. Am I missing something?

Ah, the description was with my old Jeskai Ascendancy version kussen, I never filtered through my description properly. To be honest, I'm growing ever doubtful that this is the better one, and am trying to find the balance between the three versions of this deck, the Puresight Merrow version, the Jeskai Ascendancy version, or the Monastery Mentor version.

After some thinking walking to and from lectures, here is how you do it in this version of the deck kussen. Turn 1, one drop creature. Turn 2, Puresteel Paladin. Turn 3, 3 0 cmc equipments, one being Paradise Mantle. That generates you five mana. Now if you have Auriok Steelshaper in this deck, you have a slightly better chance of this happening because you can replace Puresteel Paladin with him and only need one Paradise Mantle.

Inferior to Path to Exile 3good5me, and also in the "Cards I Will Not Use" list.

In fact, kudos to you LocketRauncher for making a suggestion with a reason to back it up that is actually really relevant. You've obviously playtested this deck.
I agree in that my 1 cmc kors without a power equipment aren't all that powerful, however it wouldn't be until turn 4 that they get equipped with the sword, and considering my lack of land that is even propagated a few more turns. If anything, I should be using Trusty Machete, because it can be used on turn 3.
