Fair enough. I thought the same thing, but I wanted to make sure.

I think that you'd be better off to just put 3 Spell Pierces in the sideboard and discard the negates.

Negates are necessary against Bloom Titan, Splinter Twin and Scapeshift, Saltblast.

I still think it's worth the risk of them not having two mana open to just be able to say no for one blue. I mean, I've seen it do work against Amulet Bloom because unless they've got their Amulet of Vigor out, Summer Bloom is getting countered turn 1 or 2, which is where it matters most. Scapeshift is also a very unpopular deck, so unless it's popular in your meta, I wouldn't worry about it.

I know that is in the "cards i Will not use" sentindo, but why not Cranial Plating?

It costs two mana and relies on having a heavy presence of artifacts dedebr6. There are many games where I only get 3 artifacts out at any given turn. This makes Cranial Plating worthless. Beyond that, I don't want to use equipments that don't cost me 0 mana that don't have a utility against certain decks.

Just came back to check how the Kors are doing after a long time, and it's sad to find that the Kors have vanished... the story was really good though.

It's funny that you include Grapeshot, but only in the budget version. Do you think it's not worth it in the non-budget version?

Too easy to disrupt in the budget version Brionac, as many pieces rely on other pieces a lot more than they do in the current version.

The Kor's will probably come back Brionac, I still have Kitesail Apprentice and BFZ could bring in some goodies. I might just make an entirely different deck.

OMG I want that Blood Moon alter, Femme! o.o

Femme_Fatale says... #12

You can ask Seesic from deviantART for a commission of it.

August 20, 2015 11:10 p.m.

hey are your auriok champs legitimate? the site that does the alter is a proxy site. I'm not com paining I'm just wondering if you're allowed to use them.

November 8, 2015 1:58 a.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #14

You can use proxies for cards if you know how to do them FAFFMEISTERWAFFLES, but they have to be put over the original card, and prove that they are over the original card to the judges who check these cards for tournament legalities.

As for most proxies regardless, no, they are no legitimate. Just done online and I put them here because their main purpose is to make decks fancy. The second purpose is to allow people to trade and sell alters in the forums, but it isn't as heavily used.

November 8, 2015 3:43 p.m.

ok sure, i was also wondering how does this deck fare in a more competitive environment like at tournaments etc?

November 9, 2015 12:19 a.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #16

Depends on your meta FAFFMEISTERWAFFLES. If your meta is full of Junk, Jund, Scapeshift and Twin, be prepared to have a difficult time. If your meta is full of Tron, Bloom Titan, Boggles, and Infect, you'll have a more easier time.

In essence, this deck falls to BG/x decks and Combo-control while winning against pure control, aggro, combo and tempo decks.

This deck just needs a few more pushes to be competitive. Monastery Mentor and Myth Realized were both really big improvements, but they still aren't entirely enough for big tournament wins.

I had to clear up some relics in my description ...

Conqueror's Pledge was still in there for some reason!

Dude_3 says... #18

Please tell me the "competitive" tag was an accident...

Even regular Cheeri0os is more competitive than this, even with how fragile it is.

December 8, 2015 11:45 a.m.

Dude_3 says... #19

Also, this isn't technically storm.

And 500 dollars may be somewhat cheap for a modern deck, but I don't think it qualifies as "budget".

December 8, 2015 11:49 a.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #20

This isn't Cheerios Dude_3. Cheerios is very specifically the legacy creature version that uses Glimpse of Nature. People tacked on Cheerios to this version even though it is incorrect as this is Puresteel. And this is by far more competitive than pure Puresteel.

Some of the tags are here because of the budget section, and that version is around $250.

December 9, 2015 4:14 p.m.

It's also not Affinity, or really a Voltron deck, and having Mentor does not make it a Tokens deck.

You gotta do what you gotta do to get upvotes. /s

December 9, 2015 4:24 p.m.

Dude_3 says... #22

And precisely what makes a name? If people "tacked it on to this version" does that not make it a name? You don't seem to understand what a name is, or really what storm, affinity or tokens are...

December 10, 2015 12:48 p.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #23

Unless you took lessons in Linguistics I suggest you don't lecture me on names :p

Most of the hubs are more of what the deck contains rather than what the deck is. I did remove the affinity hub so you can stop being anal about that. Now if you'd have bother to read the full description you'd get a little further.

Yo femme why people hatin' on this deck so much.

December 10, 2015 4:34 p.m.

Yes, because linguistics lessons makes one an expert on these things. :)
