Nope. That's how I lowered down the price of this deck by $60 Ryotenchi~

A recent discussion in the modern chat with agent basically summed up the fetches to be no better than any other dual-land in a two colour deck. It's just that fetches have a potential to not be dual and make you lose life. They are mainly for 3+ colour decks where you can get any of your 3 colours from just one fetch.

Awesome, I dont want to deal with them. 2 more mox to go with my foil that is also rotting are going to be hard enough to obtain.

Im gonna go the route of stealing my Flagstones of Trokair for fnm on completion, since I only have one Blood Moon that there is little point in running.

Now if I can be patient this time. =n.n= Instead of trying to win asap.. This should prove entertaining against the peeps in my meta who get salty and claim all Im doing is netdecking.. As if that could be avoided..

Do you have any experience with Muddle the Mixture? I was thinking as a 2 of, to setup or recover the combo.. and maybe protect mentor.. yet I can't imagine holding up 2 mana for it.. Kinda need to get a proper feel for the deck this time.

Muddle the Mixture would be too hard to cast. I suggest trying to wait till you get to 3 white mana before playing down a Puresteel Paladin so you can protect it with Emerge Unscathed. Or just wait till they are tapped out and you can equip it with Lightning Greaves.

I haven't even bothered to add the alters to these decks really DERPLINGSUPREME, thanks anyways though. I also almost always take my land art from Remi Marleone so I would have gotten those lands in a deviantART search. As for Dispel, I have tonnes.

I don't like the payoff. WHY AREN'T YOU PLAYING STORM. Also, I hate you.

There's a good reason to play this over storm, but seeing as storm is unplayable, that says nothing about this deck.

This is far more resilient than storm and can go in numerous different directions. Doesn't require you to combo off at all.

As of late, this deck also is more likely to win than it used to, with the meta being heavy with tron, infect, affinity, toolbox and dredgevine. A lot of decks that win as fast as possible that don't have as much interaction. You'd probably do well with this at your FNM thanks to most people choosing many of these more budget deck ideas. I don't think you'd get very far at a heavier tournament though, not without extensive knowledge of how this deck (and all it's previous iterations and potential alterations) works.
