Thanks wasterbaster, it is my most favourite deck, as it is one of the few decks that I started in Zendikar that actually made a really powerful standpoint.

Good luck casting Conqueror's Pledge with 18 Lands!!!!! I'm saying that because I also have a Kor Equipment deck and I know that most of the time, even with Paradise Mantle , you have some useless Conqueror's Pledge s in your hand sitting there while u can't even get a fourth (never mind a FIFTH) land. I use only one Conqueror's Pledge in a 22 land deck, gotta cast the rest of the spells for the deck to run, you know?.... I also have Adaptive Automaton to help Puresteel Paladin 's Metalcraft and also give all my kor (and tokens) +1/+1.

It is really easy to play Conqueror's Pledge , dnthymamai. If you notice, the combo is Paradise Mantle , Lightning Greaves and Puresteel Paladin , which means all of my creatures can tap for mana. The 0 mana equipment and my tutors grant me a really easy method of constant draw with Puresteel Paladin , easily netting me those lands. Conqueror's Pledge is also vital against any midrange or control deck, because it presents me a massive board advantage with one card. I wouldn't be able to beat most control decks if it weren't for Conqueror's Pledge .
I was certain someone suggested Ajani, Caller of the Pride for this deck >.> but I guess not. I don't like it to be honest wasterbaster. It's good in standard with the Heroic decks running around, but not so in modern. There are only 4 planeswalkers that I know that are used in modern. Karn Liberated for tron, Elspeth, Knight-Errant for tokens and Azorious/U/W/x control, Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas for affinity, and Liliana of the Veil for almost any deck that contains black. The reason it is not good for this deck is that it is far too slow. The counters are of no use when I can just play Armament Master and give everything like, +6/+6. The double strike and flying grant is also pretty useless considering I already have double strike and flying creatures, so it provides almost no benefit.

I'd expect you of all people to understand why aeonstoremyliver.
Perhaps read the description more closely, and then read through the comments in my updates. I'm not up for explaining this the some 15th or so time.

It is really obvious mjmoore87.
Armament Master . Spell Snare it. Puresteel Paladin . Remand it. Puresteel Paladin . Mana Leak it. Conqueror's Pledge . Cryptic Command it.

Sword of Vengeance is a nice budget card to help get your guys to hit fast and hard. Might need a way to comeback from a -x/-x ability like black sun zenith. Cathar's Crusade will be a awesome buff when you use your token cards.

Please remember to link the cards properly megagundam7. All those cards don't see play in modern because they are too slow.
Sword of Vengeance is terrible. I don't include cards because they are budget, I include cards that have synergy with the deck. It just so happens that it makes a budget deck.
Black Sun's Zenith is terrible. Why would anyone run this over Wrath of God or Damnation ? And I already have a wrath come-back, and that is Conqueror's Pledge . If you know they run wraths, don't play everything all at once, keep a few creatures in your hand to play after you bait out there wrath.
Cathars' Crusade is terrible. A turn 5 card that relies on other plays to generate advantage is not how you should play in modern. A 5 cmc card should be a near instant win, not some short of shenanigan build up to a win.

I really like this deck. Another card that isn't necessary but migh fit is Shuko

Not a 0 mana cost equipment so it doesn't work ewoneb.

After playtesting this deck a few times, I kept running into the issue that this deck has a high defense, but not a lot of offensive abilities. The only real win con is the Armament Master -Conqueror's Pledge , using Paradise Mantle to pay for it. The only real way to get these three cards is to draw them.
Check out this infini-"scry" combo: Equip Puresight Merrow with Paradise Mantle . Tap for mana, then use that mana to pay for its untap ability. Exile cards until you find the win cons you need.

You bring a very good point to this deck, one that is truly this deck's main weakness. It can't be run as an aggro deck until you have Armament Master or occasionally, Auriok Steelshaper out. While this is 5 cards, against a midrange build I am really struggling with all the removal and Lightning Greaves would only be able to do so much with Abrupt Decay existing.
I really like that suggestion, and frankly, am willing to lower the cohesion of the deck's Puresteel Paladin combo to try this out. My only issue with it is it really weakens the effectiveness of Cavern of Souls ' 2 type use of Human and Soldier, generally meaning I would have to add another land. Can I do it? Yes, but I don't know the ramifications it would have for this deck at this point.
I will be removing one Steelshaper's Gift and one Accorder's Shield for Puresight Merrow , and the removing one Spidersilk Net for a Plains , and will go into vigorous testing mode to see how this deck works.

You don't actually need blue mana for the Merrow since it's hybrid mana or am I missing something here.
This deck has changed quite a bit since I last looked. I'd plus one again if I could.

I decided to add some blue mana to fit in with the fact that I have blue in one of my creatures. It is mainly for Spellskite on my sideboard though. I'll get to working on the description eventually, I just made 15 trogdor cards to show you on the other thread.
