I'm looking for opinions on the two Anticipate in the main. Should I keep them or replace them with something like Treasure Cruise?

My Jeskai Dragons midrange list. Gets off the ground by at the most turn 3, and follows it up with threats in the air.

DISCLAIMER: Monastery Swiftspears are stand-ins for the Dragonlord Ojutai and the Gideon, Ally of Zendikar I have pulled from packs. If you have the budget, definitely pick these up. If you want to bring the cost of the deck below $80, replace the Soulfire Grand Masters with two more Seeker of the Way .

Creatures:

Monastery Swiftspear: Great turn one card, and with the combat tricks in this deck, can hold its own against larger creatures.

Soulfire Grand Master: Works great with burn spells to keep your life total up against other aggro decks, notably mono-red goblins, and its last ability allows you to buyback a Treasure Cruise if you need more options.

Seeker of the Way : A good two drop, and like Monastery Swiftspear, can use combat tricks to trade with a larger creature and gain you life.

Icefall Regent Locks down an opponent's creature, and is hard to remove with its second ability.

Mantis Rider: A staple for Jeskai decks. Although he does have the three color cost, hardly anyone has a turn three flier that can match him. Multiple copies can win you games.

Thunderbreak Regent: Allows me to have a decent mid-late game. He's big enough to be a threat, and has the ability to force your opponent to take 4 damage in the air per turn, or use a removal spell and take 3 damage as a side effect.

Spells:

Anticipate: Against a slower deck, playing this on turn two allows you to find the card you need. It also helps you find the color of mana you need to play effectively.

Spell Shrivel : An upgraded Mana Leak. Most of the time, the extra mana turns this into a hard counter.

Wild Slash : Basic burn spell.

Valorous Stance : For those pesky Siege Rhinos and Tasigur, the Golden Fangs.

Jeskai Charm : A very versatile card. Use the first option to temporarily remove a threat so you can connect with an attack, the second as a burn spell if the 4 damage will kill your opponent, or the last option as a combat trick for massive lifegain and effectively a +2/+2 for your prowess creatures.

Disdainful Stroke: With the slower format, this spell is more effective against a wider variety of decks.

Sideboard:

Reality Shift: For the threats you can't Roast.

Dispel: Great against control or burn decks.

Disdainful Stroke: Mainly sided in against Abzan matchups. Stops their Siege Rhino from hitting the board. Also useful against control decks.

Negate: For the control matchup. Stops their removal and counters.

Roast: Better than Valorous Stance against non-red "go wide" strategies, especially with the combo with Soulfire Grand Master.

Erase : Enchantment and constellation hate.

Arashin Cleric : White's way to deal with red aggro.

Silkwrap : Deals with a lot of aggro deck creatures, and especially good against Jace, Vryn's Prodigy (Flip).

Fiery Impulse : An easy 3 damage burn spell with the amount of cards that turn on spell mastery.

If you have a larger budget, Monastery Mentor is a good replacement for Seeker of the Way . Another option, for side or mainboard, is a couple copies of Dragonlord Ojutai . A great finisher, and filters cards so you can avoid land flooding. Narset Transcendent is good if you're leaning more towards control. And as always, fixing up the land base with fetchlands, painlands, and Battle for Zendikar duals help with getting the mana you need.

Abzan:

This is one of the two hardest matchups for Jeskai to face. Wild Slash is next to useless against and Siege Rhino.
Sideboarding:
+2 Roast
+1 Negate
+1 Reality Shift
-2 Wild Slash
-1 Anticipate
-1 Spell Shrivel

Control:

The other hard matchup. Sideboarding:
+2 Dispel
+2 Negate
-2 Wild Slash
-2 Draconic Roar

Warriors:

This is an even matchup. Keep your burn spells for creatures like Arashin Foremost and Brutal Hordechief. Don't underestimate Blood-Chin Rager . Warriors has no easy way to deal with flyers without using removal spells.
Sideboarding:
+2 Roast
+2 Silkwrap
+2 Fiery Impulse
-2 Anticipate
-2 Disdainful Stroke
-1 Silumgar's Scorn
-1 Scatter to the Winds

Jeskai:

Will obviously play similar to your deck. Most Jeskai decks will be slightly faster than you, so keep the board clear for the first two or three turns until you can get your dragons online.
Sideboarding:
+2 Dispel
+2 Fiery Impulse
-1 Wild Slash
-2 Anticipate
-1 Disdainful Stroke

Ramp:

This matchup requires you to end the game early, or you'll be swamped by the large creature ramp decks pump out.
Sideboarding:
+2 Roast
+1 Encase in Ice
-1 Wild Slash
-1 Spell Shrivel
-1 Draconic Roar

Landfall, Aggro, Aggro:

This matchup is already slightly favorable, and gets even better post board.
Sideboarding:
+2 Fiery Impulse
+1 Dispel
+2 Arashin Cleric
+1 Encase in Ice
-2 Anticipate
-2 Disdainful Stroke
-1 Silumgar's Scorn
-1 Jeskai Charm

Megamorph:

You are the control deck in this matchup. Kill their early threats, and fly over their creatures with Mantis Rider.
Sideboarding:
+2 Silkwrap
+2 Fiery Impulse
+1 Negate
-2 Anticipate
-1 Disdainful Stroke
-1 Valorous Stance
-1 Jeskai Charm

If you liked this deck, don't forget to upvote it! Constructive criticism is always welcome.

Took second place with 2-1 tonight. Received a third Roastfoil for my binder.

Round 1: Ramp: (2-0)
Flattened this deck with a quick Seeker of the Way into double Monastery Swiftspear into Jeskai Charm.

Round two: Enchantments (2-0)
Took this match by setting up for the long game. Thunderbreak Regent was great against his removal, as it was all targeted. Finished him off both games with Jeskai Charms to the face.

Round 3: Landfall (0-2)
The bane of my deck. A slow hand the first game and flooding the second meant a quick match loss.
