Abzan drain/gain with foods then ramp into hydra as a late game threat. The deck probably needs to choose if it’s going to ramp more (to justify the green splash) or drain more. Heaped Harvest just seems like too good of a card to pass up in an aggro-midrange drain shell, even if it only provides incidental ramp. And Nyxborn Hydra is an excellent closer if the drain plan falls flat.

Current issues to work on:

• Mana base: switch to gates or artifacts? How much synergy do the gainlands actually provide? Do we want bouncelands? Gingerbread Cabin? (Probably not since that many forests isn’t guaranteed.) Would probably want to add Refurbished Familiar if switching to artifacts, even though there’s no way to reanimate it. On the other hand, gates package might work well with Breathless Knight and Gingerbrute.

• Interaction: probably needs more removal…but what to cut?
