This deck was first suggested to me at my LGS (shoutout to my man Jesse!) when I was thinking about ways to build a solid Ally deck.
This one revolves around Halimar Excavator putting the opponent's entire deck into their graveyard in the course of a few turns once the engine gets going. The flicker and blink cards are a bit flexible, though I will be very sad if Ephemerate gets banned (sub in Cloudshift or Teferi's Time Twist and Momentary Blink if it does). One prime target for blinking is Irregular Cohort, as you get an extra body and double triggers on your Allies.
Ondu Cleric keeps you alive and lets you spare your creatures from having to block, although if you do block a timely blink prevents infect and non-trample damage from doing anything. Umara Raptor is in the sideboard mostly to keep the skies safe, but it has closed out a few games when I wasn't able to find my Excavators.
Portent is a poor man's Ponder, with the upside of being able to hit your opponent's deck if they scry something good to the top, though if you aren't milling that card anyway you're likely in a bad scenario.
Your best turn one play is a Portent or Ponder, or a tapped land like Halimar Depths, to set up your draws just right. Resist the urge to play the Excavator on turn two. It's always better to save it for turn three or four when you can keep mana open to flicker it. Never block and flicker it if your opponent holds up mana for removal, they'll just use Cast Down and ruin your day the moment you try to flicker it. Use Makindi Shieldmate and Ondu Cleric to stay alive long enough and draw out removal until you get your engine started, then let the good times roll!
This is my first deck posted here, so feedback is more than welcome, it's requested! I've seen this deck do very well against competitive decks in pauper and other formats, but it can always get better.
