The general game plan is to accumulate damage with Mayhem Devil by sacrificing our and our opponents' stuff. The deck also accumulates incidental damage when opponents sacrifice things on their own like Terramorphic Expanse which is a nice perk.

The deck basically consists of:

1) Sack Outlets: The deck needs cards that sacrifice creatures to get the damage going so sacrifice outlets are essential. Especially ones that give us cards or mana for sacrificing creatures.

2) Sack Fodder: Cards that can recur themselves or produce value value when they ETB or die.

3) Ramp/Land Searching: Cards that can sacrifice themselves and ramp us like Wayfarer's Bauble and Renegade Map help to ensure that we hit our land drops and allow us to ping something/someone as a nice little bonus. The deck also has a number of cards like Impulsive Pilferer that produce treasure tokens which are fantastic for the deck.

4) Draw: self-explanatory but a card of note in this category would be Magnifying Glass which is really nice since it can draw, produce mana and do damage. Clue tokens are almost as good as treasure tokens in this deck.

5) Recursion: The deck runs a total of 8 cards that either allow us to bring a creature back from the graveyard or brings itself back from the graveyard. I'm trying out Underworld Charger and Underworld Rage-Hound as an experiment to see if the deck produces enough graveyard fodder to make escape useful.

and 6) Cards that make either all opponents or all players sac something:Fleshbag Marauder is an example of such a card and one I expect to be an all-star in the deck.

Other cards of note:

Ulamog's Crusher is a good way to finish a game. Annihilator synergizes nicely with Mayhem Devil.

Aspect of Gorgon and other cards that give deathtouch turn Mayhem Devil's pings lethal. A strategy you may want to try is to hoard your treasure and other saccable artifacts until you draw a card that gives deathtouch and reap havoc on the board.
