Ive noticed. I think its do to the players who submitted the decks and links have deleted their decks from tappedout.

My ley weaver and lore weaver deck is still on my page and I've never deleted it or made it private :( it's gone from the list.

The tappedout formatting sort of hickuped and now I need to figure out a way to fix all of them NOT by hand... please hold

"The benefit of making the minor changes that I'm proposing is you don't have to spend nearly as long explaining how it is different" This is funny to me because not a single person I've described this format to has taken more than 10 seconds to wrap their head around "any creature that has been uncommon"

Honestly, some uncommons are more interesting than rares.

Podkomorka Just in this thread without even going back through the archives I found 3 different confused people. I think just saying "Non-rare Legendary creature" would be easier to grok for most and also fits their preconceptions about the format. If someone said "Pauper EDH" to someone who had never heard of it, they would most likely expect something along the lines of what I'm suggesting :)

oeliberti says...#8 Imperious Perfect - first print uncommon, so it is legal as a mono-green pauper commander right?

marlonmikami says...#17 What are the rules about downshifted creatures? If an uncommon creature is later printed at common, does it become an illegal commander?

Reach229 says...#19 Wait are you saying you don't allow commons as commanders? I have a Thornscape Apprentice who would be very disappointed - especially as there are no good Naya alternatives for the deck :P

Also how do you feel about Planeswalkers? We did some fairly extensive testing for 1v1 and found even the best ones were no better than an uncommon creature. But I guess its a different dynamic in multiplayer? ^^

If pEDH was following the same rules as EDH I would have never played pEDH. I love the wide versatility of cmdrs that you can use in pEDH. ADDITIONALLY pEDH needs as much cmdrs to pick from as it can. Only having common cards to put in the 99 is a restriction enough as it is. If you bring the number of cmdrs from 3,000 to 100 I'm out. Especially since 85% of the choice cards in the 100 uncommon legendary cmdrs are garbage

@sneekygoblin: When WAR came out we deliberated on how PDH should handle Uncommon Walkers and, seeing the rumors that EDH may make any Planeswalker legal commanders, decided to wait for the EDH RC to make a ruling. They decided to keep the rules the same and so we did as well.

The actual Power of the Walkers is not really a problem; none would be top tier except maybe as a meta deck and you sacrifice a win condition (commander damage) to have something that generates value each turn or grants a unique effect. Durdling was a consideration as many of them are defensive, they are harder to deal with, and it could make games into slogfests if multiple players were using them but that can be said of many creatures as well.

This is something that may change in the future depending on what new sets hold, whether we continue to use the EDH RC as a foundation for our rules, and the demand from the player base. But right now it is just up to your play group to decide if you want to play them or not.

Ruffigan, sorry I should have used quotation marks or something, that bit about using planeswalkers as commanders was still part of Reach229's question (post #19 in this thread). Even so I appreciate the thorough response!

It's been a minute, but I'd like to suggest Vampire of the Dire Moon for the black section. Seems like a fun mono-black voltron commander for the format.
