For ca trips, Impulse is great, along with Ponder and Preordain, all of which are worth looking into

I'm already running 4 Ponder and 4 Preordain, which I think are excellent. But I'm not sure if Impulse is good enough though, since it costs 2 Mana. I'll give it a go though. I'm just worried that investing 2 mana on a cantrip isn't good enough.

Is this deck really pauper? The price is like, 100$.

Impulse is amazing, it is a can trip of sorts but it mostly lets you dig for whatever card u want, like a combo piece.

Yeah, it's all commons all the time alright. Some cards are weirdly expensive though, especially on the system tappedout is using for pricing. For example, tappedout is registering Preordain as 5.0 tix, then there's Hydroblast, which are about 4.5 tix each, and Gitaxian Probe and Lotus Petal, which are 1.5 tix each and 3.1 tix respectively.

I don't think lotus petal is common. All cards from the set its from have a black set symbol

Mardu_Charizard try clicking on Lotus Petal, you'll see in the printings section in the right hand colomn that it was printed as a common in Tempest. You're right that all the cards in Tempest have a black set symbol, but they still have rarities, and Lotus petal is a commmon.
