Sideboard

Creature (3)

Artifact (3)

Red-Green Energy Aggro with a White splash for Eddytrail Hawk.

The main plan of this deck is to play cards that make energy, and then play creatures that spend energy when they attack. Then, you use the energy you've gained to fuel these abilities multiple times. If you're successful, your creatures should be bigger than your opponent's, and you'll win the race.

At first, I tried Jund with Live Fast, Die Young and Thriving Rats, but then I realized the deck would be fine without these cards and that Die Young is anti-synergistic.

Card Breakdown

Eddytrail Hawk: The only good White energy card, Eddytrail Hawk allows us to attack through board stalls and continue to grow our creatures.

Thriving Grubs: At minimum, it's a 3/2 for 2 or an energy bump, which isn't bad. It trades with a 3-drop, although it dies to most 2-drops. However, if it survives the first attack, it becomes a 4/3, which is a very good deal for 2 mana.

Aether Chaser: One of the weaker cards in the deck, but can help race by providing a stream of chump blockers, and the first strike allows it to attack through early game plays.

Sage of Shalla's Claim: Extra energy means more activations, and a 2/1 for 2 isn't unplayable with this upside.

Thriving Rhino: A 3/4 for 3 that grows if you have the energy. Very good deal.

Aetherstream Leopard: A fairly weak card, as the energy effect isn't permanent, but when you can afford to spend it a 4/3 trample for 3 is a good deal.

Attune with Aether: Basically a tapped fetchland that gains 2 energy, which means another +1/+1 counter, servo, or 2 jumps or pumps. Great deal.

Vines of Vastwood: It would be a huge blowout for us if a creature we've spent time growing dies. Well, we've got news for our opponent...Also, if you can spare the mana, 4 pump is huge.

Lightning Bolt: We're playing red.

Woodweaver's Puzzleknot: This card is very slow, and costs 5 mana over two turns. But that's 6 energy and 6 life. Too good to pass up.

Onto the sideboard.

Electrickery is a blowout for weenie decks

Relic is the best card available against every graveyard deck

Pyroblast deals with the Counter Color

Deadly Insect does well against Control. A 6/1 for 6 looks bad, but control decks don't often play many creatures and we can clear the ones they do before swinging in for 6, and there's little they can do about it.

Ancient Grudge hoses artifacts.
