One Land Spy is a combo deck based around casting a lethal Haunting Misery . It does this by tutoring up the one Forest with Land Grant , then casting a Balustrade Spy targeting itself, then recurring Haunting Misery and casting it for lethal.

A possible turn one win (requiring a opening hand of Land Grant or Forest, Wild Cantor , Dark Ritual x2, Balustrade Spy , Songs of the Damned and Haunting Misery or Conjurer's Bauble) is: 1) Cast Land Grant for nothing, 2) Play the Forest, 3) Cast Wild Cantor , 4) Sacrifice Wild Cantor and add one black mana to your mana pool, 3) Cast Dark Ritual, 4) Cast another Dark Ritual, 5) Cast Balustrade Spy targeting yourself, 6) Cast Songs of the Damned, 7) Cast Conjurer's Bauble and recur Haunting Misery 8) Cast Haunting Misery for 24 damage.

An alternative method of building the deck would be to have Eldrazi as win conditions and ramp into them with Songs of the Damned, however this is not as quick as using Haunting Misery .

In the sideboard I have Ancient Grudge against Affinity, Duress against disruptive decks, Electrickery against swarms, Flaring Pain against hosers such as Fog, Pyroblast vs. any Delver decks and Serene Heart against Hexproof.
