Deck building rules for my group:

• The Commander must be legendary and common/uncommon.
• The 99 must be common.

Engines

Basically the goal here is to assemble engines to combo out with. This is done typically done with a bounce spell like Displace , a creature to return that card to hand like Scrivener , and one other creature with a CITP effect.

Example: Scrivener + Displace + Peregrine Drake = infinite mana

Once we achieve infinite mana we can use Rona, Disciple of Gix to allow us to reuse our artifacts like Aether Spellbomb or Explosive Apparatus , an infinite amount of times.

Other Engines:

Archaeomancer + Ghostly Flicker + High Tide + Cloud of Faeries = infinite mana

once again after we have infinite mana we can move on to another engine that does damage:

Archaeomancer + Ghostly Flicker + Pierce Strider

Archaeomancer + Ghostly Flicker + Sunscorched Desert

*note: Displace cannot 'bounce' lands or artifacts like Ghostly Flicker .
