April 7th Pauper Modern SF - 1st Place

All 1-drops, all the time. Almost always able to cast the spells exiled by Synthesizer. Cast multiple high-quality spells every turn. Try to deal as much damage as you can each turn, without losing card advantage.

I chose Chromatic Star over Implement of Combustion because I feel like I often want to have mana to cast whatever I might draw. There are so many good spells worth casting that I think I would rather have over the 1 damage from Combustion. Banesplitter and Mutagenic Growths are Lightning Bolt equivalents with an unblocked Swiftspear, or helped get in lethal damage via a humble Goblin token.

Sweepers galore in the sideboard keep enemy 1/1s in check. Some artifact hate that I never ended up using, and Tormod's Crypt, because I love the cheeky Turn 1 Swiftspear + Crypt play. Definitely will add in Relic of Progenitus.
