PDH(RB) - KARDUR DOOMSCOURGE

Doomscourge is a really neat card! His two abilities are individually very cool and they synergize in cool ways.

When I started building him I focused a lot on ways to get extra EtB triggers with him, using Shade's Form or Unholy Indenture , and then trying to make sure that my opponents' creatures all died in combat, with stuff like Bladebrand and Rock Slide .

I realized that this approach, when it works, is probably the most fun. it was just, the more I thought about it, the more I realized that it was pretty unreliable. At the right table, under the right circumstances: 10/10, A+++, good times and no ragerts. But at control-heavy tables with more answers for Kardur than creatures in play.... meh.

So I took matters into my own hands. If I can't count on the table to have lots of creatures for me to ruin, I'll just bring my own. Throw in a handful of Trumpet Blast s and a Raid Bombardment to make the horde really worthwhile, sprinlke in a Makeshift Munitions and a Lampad of Death's Vigil to sacrifice my stuff after it deals damage to get those beautiful Kardur triggers, and top it all off with some Breath of Malfegor and Gruesome Fate action. Bake everything for 34 seconds at 2000 degrees and you got yourself one certified good time.
