This is one I'm building on a budget, for fun kitchen table games but with a bit of power behind it too.
I use Zedruu's superpower to give people stuff they either don't want, don't need or really need and will thank me for it.

Don't want:Steel Golem and Grid Monitor are horrible cards to control. That's why I play them :P

Illusions of Grandeur Is a lovely combo to swing 40 life with only 2 cards.
Pyromancer's Swath can be a good way to seal a victory, or if I have to I can just put it out to force someone to discard.

Don't needAll the global enchantments can be played and donated without a loss of functionality, so things like Nevermore to stop a commander in its tracks, or Oblivion Ring and Journey to Nowhere for removal, and Paradox Haze to properly use Zedruu's upkeep trigger.

Pillow Fort Cards
These are the ones to discourage attacks from other ladies and gentlemen. Propaganda and Windborn Muse make it cost to attack me, whereas Vow of Duty, Vow of Flght and Vow of Lightning are good ways to get my opponents to tear each other apart.
Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs makes attacking me problematic, and if they choose to give me ogres I can use them to block, then donate them to a more peaceful opponent, or one in a less commanding position.

Trade Cards
What's better than a draw every turn? A draw every turn AND another permanent for your trouble!
Vedalken Plotter gets me the best-looking land on the board in exchange for a basic land in a colour they can't use. The creature can then be donated for extra draw another time, so the card overall gives me 2 draws per upkeep in the ideal situation.
Political Trickery and Shifting Borders have a similar effect, to donate lands without slowing down my mana.
Switcheroo and Chromeshell Crab and Djinn of Infinite Deceits are good ways to get a nice creature and get a draw every upkeep out of it, assuming everything remains on the board under my control during my upkeep.

Threats
I can deal damage with draw by using Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind and Psychosis Crawler. They also have the potential to be decent creatures in their own rights.
Medomai the Ageless gets me extra turns. This gives me the opportunity to pull off any ridiculous combos without fear or interference.
Venser, the Sojourner has the potential to get me value from my Luminate Primordial, Pilgrim's Eye or clone cards, as well as regaining control of things I've donated that seem problematic. His ultimate is also a decent game-ender.
Dominus of Fealty is a great thing to steal creatures every turn. The best part is that I can use Bazaar Trader to gain control indefinitely, or just donate them to someone who can't use them as well with Zedruu.
