Hey have you thought about adding in vault skirge strictly for the flying aspect, You can use it as a one drop and it can get you your life back quick especially if you have equipment attached to it. I think it would be pretty valuable to add him or some sort of flying creature cause that was the only way i was able to beat this deck. Literally if I didnt have a flying creatur I wouldnt have won cause how quick it is.

Sorry, i was thinking about my other deck deck:abolishers-destiny i have artifact hate there. The point of this deck isnt defensive its aggro and offensive. Unless i go up against a deck that can get out a hellkite before turn 6 or 5 theyll be the ones playing defensively. And Dispatch helps. I might add something to kill opponents creatures because your all right, this deck does lack the ability to take care of flying creatures.

Naturalize eats this deck for breakfast. Don't even get me started with Creeping Corrosion . As a mono-Green player, I'm always packing more than 1. What are your answers to cards that kill everything you have except for Puresteel Paladin ?

I might throw in a Sun Titan or 2.

is there an answer to that? I dont know a hole lot of people that would run those in sideboard that I play against. But even if they do all you can do is bend over and take it.

I don't think White can do anything about Creeping Corrosion - That's why I love using it.

But the Sun Titan is a good call. You're bound to lose SOMETHING by the time you get 6 mana going. And a 6/6 Vigilance is tough to handle in its own right. Imagine a Sun Titan with a Sword or two on it. That's diabolical.

Sun titan would help but you might have to add mana and cut to much to take away from your main goal.

I can prob get enough mana. Im not really worried.

Hey have you thought about Liquimetal Coating. it would give your puresteel paladin an extra boost. And could be a quicker win condition also. Just a thought. I know you dont run enough white creatures to really worry about it. But it could help.

true but do you think you will see a lot of decks that will run that? They are mainly focused on Valakut and black decks right now. If you think it will hurt then don't add it. you could also look into adding Silverskin Armor. Does the same thing but is equipment.

I think that card is good but i dont know what to take out for it plus i dont want to put it in.

@zandlThough for the deck's defense, he MAY still have a chance to mill out Creeping Corrosion s and a couple of Beast Within . or just Sb a Mana Leak just in case he's up against green (as always, Mono-greens will keep their corrosions in SB too).

@squirrelking98I love how Etched Champion eats everything. If only you could get an Echo Circlet , together with card:Accorder's Shield he's unstoppable. As for the Sun Titan , might I suggest playing Mirran Crusader instead? The doublestrike allows you to hit twice with the swords as well (e.g. mills 20, deals 2x dmg per card in hand). I play tested the deck online, I just notice that lands are hard to come by. Most of the time I win with 3 lands and 2 Mox Opal out. Though sometimes your first 7 cards won't even have a land. (Maybe its just the odds of the computer shuffle).

I like what bman5604's call on Vault Skirge , you could replace it with Signal Pest . Otherwise, you can get Porcelain Legionnaire since you're running shields.

Sad though almost all can die in a single Ratchet Bomb .You could, however, SB Revoke Existence .

Those are my opinions, I just want your feedback since I'm really amused with your deck.

I dont know it could be but its a little high on the mana cost for this deck. he tops out 3mana because of the swords. and 15/60 of his cards are 0 drops.

The solemn simulacrum helps to get out lands plus i get to draw. Actually im gonna take 2 out.

Oh wow added a land who knew.And some people I just can't take seriously like OnDiet when he said he had 2 mox opals out. This whole discussion just makes me laugh, kudos.

Hey PhattyBacon what do you think of the deck now?

Wow, this is fast paced, I am iffy if Dispatch and Ponder should be in the side board or not, but looking at the objective-getting puresteel out ASAP, equipping it like crazy, and ruining someone's day-makes me think otherwise. I am looking over my Puresteel deck and I am trying to make it run faster, but I really do like this and thank you for the advice. +1 by the way!

lol sorry, noobish me. I completely forgot Mox Opal was a Legendary. I guess I have to play test it again THE RIGHT WAY.

I have read previous comments, but I still feel like Darksteel Relic tends to be a dead draw, maybe it's just me, but I hate having a card sitting there with no other purpose than to get metalcraft when there are better 0 drops that achieve the same thing and then some (sorry if that sounded harsh). Yeah, it survives Worldslayer and Creeping Corrosion , but with this deck, you should be able to side against it (I assume a first win). Besides, I rarely ever see those played and even if they were, I feel this deck will have them near death by the time they get to use it at the very least. I also think Ponder would be better MB, it helps keep consistency with the deck to severely speed it up. Take the Glinthawks out of the SB and add in Timely Reinforcements for those pesky RDW decks. I just thought I would pass along some learned advice from looking at other decks and playtesting mine. Also Inkmoth Nexus is an Artifact creature when it comes out...some possibilities there even though it has infect.
