I fell in love with slivers immediately and so I tired my best to make a usable sliver deck. I tried to have an answer for everything, but I'd love some help.
Mainboard
The most important thing in a Sliver deck is to get more Slivers onto the field. That's where the mana base comes in. I made sure to include every color of basic land, as this is a five color deck. I also added the obvious choice of
Sliver Hive
which will allow you to get whatever color you need to your slivers. For non-Sliver spells, though, I put in a playset of Terramorphic Expanse to get the land that you need. Finally I added Manaweft Sliver because once you get that out, you don't need anymore lands.
Hive Stirrings
will quickly let you fill the board and Wild Pair will let you get two creatures for the price of one, thereby increasing your army's power. Homing Sliver will let you get what you need when you need it, even searching out Sliver Hivelord.
Once the Slivers are out, it's important to keep them on the field. Asceticism is the most obvious choice for keeping your slivers safe from spells, but I also added Diffusion Sliver as early game protection. The problem is that this only protects from spells that target. In the case that someone pulls out a field wipe, which really is the bane of a sliver deck, I added
Pulmonic Sliver
to get them back easily. Finally, Sliver Hivelord is the ultimate protection, giving all your Slivers Indestructible.
Now that the Slivers are out, it's time to beef them up and swing in. Predatory Sliver will quickly make all your smaller Slivers huge early game while
Megantic Sliver
can be brought out late game. Mirror Entity is technically a Sliver and can easy beef your creatures for a final assault. Early game, Striking Sliver will help your creatures survive combat while a little later game
Bonescythe Sliver
gives them even more power.
Sentinel Sliver
gives your creatures Vigilance, which is always good. Finally, Venom Sliver will help even your smallest creatures take down threats.
To help your creatures get through,
Galerider Sliver
and
Pulmonic Sliver
will give your creatures flying. Harmonic Sliver will help you get rid of pesky artifacts and enchantments while Shock can get rid of the smaller creatures. If your Slivers are having a little trouble getting through,
Virulent Sliver
decreases the times you need to do damage. The last card in the deck, Leeching Sliver, lets you deal damage without even getting through, which is good for defensive decks.
Sideboard
Belligerent Sliver
and Blur Sliver were obvious choices to help you swing out quickly and not get blocked, if you want to play more aggressively.
Fungus Sliver
helps your creatures get big and
Frenzy Sliver
helps your swarm deal massive damage.
Constricting Sliver
is a replacement for Harmonic Sliver if you're playing against a more creature based deck and Cancel is an all around useful card, though I mostly added it to help defend against field wipes.
