My vote rings in for Master Transmuter , definitely. Chippy is pretty awesome.
Other choices would have been Kargan Dragonlord , Mayael the Anima , Nimbus Maze , (everything Jason Chan does is fantastic), Centaur Garden , Boros Garrison , Honden of Infinite Rage , Tranquil Garden (John Avon is good stuff), Cloudcrown Oak , Hana Kami , Pride of the Clouds (hooray for Rebecca Guay), and finally Nils Hamm's Elderwood Scion has a peculiar beauty.
Thanks STG for another fun contest! I can't wait to see what other people choose.

This is gonna be one nobody else will choose. but I'm going with Scour . It is BEAUTIFUL, with a really wonderfully-done spiral of magical stuff with the two contrasting colours on either side. It looks like some kind of digital artistry masterpiece!

The regular version of Restoration Angel .
A beautiful dress with some intricate work on the front, billowing fabric enveloping the scene, the sunlight casting shadows from her golden hair, those wonderful wings... Even the little blue ribbons she has tied to her body and that soft eye shadow you would never notice unless you looked closely. Everything is stunning and full of detail down to the last feather and wheat shaft.
And don't get me started on the flavour of it all! An Angel giving you the spirit to start afresh and fight anew? Brilliant.

I actually think that Diabolic Tutor depicts the mechanics of the card perfectly. John Avon is my favorite artist and has produced some epic art (Murmuring Bosk and such)
but my favorite is Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded . So Awesome! This guy must have the coolest outfit. His posture just exudes confidence. The backround is faded to make room for this guy. He has so much charisma that everyone wants to be on his side. He pollutes the air because he just doesn't give a shit about his hand. Every time I look at this card I smile and think: I'm on his side he's one cool badass. He must of searched for hours trying to find the perfect ledge with the molten river and craggy mountian backround. Look at his foot placement, just try and find another ledge like that with such a backround.

My votes are Ebon Praetor (Just absurdly epic), Volrath the Fallen (truly captures the character and his ability), Aboroth (same as with volrath), Phyrexian Dreadnought (iconic art), Necropotence from iceage (iconic art), Ghost Council of Orzhova (very flavorful), Mirari and Stasis .

Oh and Grim Monolith truly depicts a strange environment and Baron Sengir and Castle Sengir just for sheer flavor.

The art on Terminus is wonderful. A holy light beam (or death laser) from the sky to wash away the evil that was rampant in Dark Ascension fits the flavor of the set perfectly.

Corrupted Conscience shows Karn at his worst. He's destroyed the world he created by leaving the oil behind and now he's paying the price.

My vote goes to Entreat the Angels . I love the overall scheme of the art, and it just perfectly embodies... Angels..... Entreating? :D

After much hemming and hawwing I have decided to vote for Figure of Destiny .
It wasn't an easy choice as it came down to the Figure, Finest Hour , Thopter Foundry , Darksteel Colossus and Platinum Emperion at the end.
August 23, 2012 2:26 p.m.
As an addendum to my post (where I forgot to explain my reasonings) I chose the Figure because of the unique art style and the interesting R/W haze in the background that embodies the Kithkin Spirit Warrior Avatar.
When it comes to the others I was originally going to just go for Finest Hour as the art is really captivating to me and the card is truly amazing in foil. Thopter Foundry has an amazing amount of detail for such a simple card. Good old Darksteel Colossus is one I've always liked and Platinum Emperion and the way that he reflects the area around him (along with that epic flavor text) was also a contender. Extra shoutout to Mirran Crusader , Phyrexian Crusader and the original Grove of the Burnwillows .

I'm a big fan of Blood Artist . Not only is the artwork stunning, but his own painting is pretty darn impressive.

Of the cards in the deck here Clifftop Retreat is the best art because of how well done the shading and lighting is done and it is just appealing to me aesthetically.

Sigarda, Host of Herons art gives off the feel of an intimidating angel, she's equipped with a scythe like weapon that makes more sense than small swords for a creature that will be doing most of her combat above her enemies. The haziness of her features depicts hexproof better than a good number of other creatures. The moon background also works wonderfully with the focus.
Aside from her art Sigarda has a ton of flavor with my favorite book series, The Wheel of Time, in that heron marked swords are a sign that the wielder is a master swordsman. Sigarda, Host of Herons is probably the best possible commander in EDH to wield the swords of X and Y, which all the sword's artist was the same person who made sigarda's art.
